Wilderness Club
Played On 07/18/2018Sneaky tough
Wonderful course, tougher than you think it should be. Was on 3-day unlimited play and loved it. remote, beautiful area. Ambassadors are great, course in great shape and pace good (4 hour or less, carts-don’t try to walk it) Reminds me of Circling Raven in that some holes you can see no other golfers. Will definitely be back and with long Montana days you could play 54 holes in a day.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course
Played On 04/19/2018A favorite in PS
Always get a round in here. Not a difficult course, but enough water and bunkers to keep it interesting. Course always in good shape and pace mives along. No GPS and not great yeardage markers so bring a scope/GOS. Vart girl needs to get a personality, my only complaint.
SilverRock Resort
Played On 04/18/2018challenging and fun
more bunkers than I think I have ever seen! Challenging course, fun and interesting. Not inexpensive but worth the cost if you want a challenge. Water is also on the course. Only complaint would be pace of play, 4:45 round, but never really was an issue as we enjoyed the course so much.
Coyote Springs Golf Club
Played On 03/03/2018Intersesting but...
Out there, could be windy. Desk is an A. H. Came early, said full starter got us on 20 minutes early. No logo ball, poor selection of lofo wear. Lots of water and undulating landscape but for the dri e, staff close to mesquite or vegas
The Links at Moses Pointe
Played On 09/26/2016feel good course
Better weather, longer season than Spokane, so great place early and late in season. Not difficult, terrain doesn't change much, but a couple of fun and challenging holes (9 and 11). You should walk off this course feeling good about your game and with a good score!
Wigwam Resort - Gold Course
Played On 09/22/2016Okay
First time, had heard the name Wigwam in past and assumed a bit of a classic. Played golf course. Very flat, ball rolls a long way. Some bunkers and a little water. Short par 4's, you should walk off this course feeling very good about your game.
Wigwam Resort - Gold Course
Played On 09/22/2016Pretty basic
This would be a good opening round, a warm up course. Very flat and few features. A lot of bunkers and a couple of holes have water in play, however from what would be the white tees it is short and flat. Drier conditions lead to a lot of roll on the fairways and easy shots in to the green. Nice pro shop, good selection of goods.
Raven Golf Club - Phoenix
Played On 09/21/2016Worth the time
Decent course in easy to access location. This time of heat very dry, so ball rolled a long way. Some trouble if you miss the fairway but many instances where ball still in play. Strange layout for driving range, be cautious coming and going.not much water, a fair number of bunkers.
Kalispel Golf & Country Club
Played On 06/24/2016scenic and great condition
Formerly the Spokane Country Club, which was private, now owned and operated by the Kalispel Tribe (which also owns the Northern Quest Casino and resort Hotel). Scenic layout in the little Spokane river valley, frequented by wildlife viewing, this course has some great holes that require accuracy off the tee. Fairways are in excellent shape and greens will only get faster as the summer extends. Nice bar for post round enjoyment and food. This is the first two months since the tribe took over the operation, it will only continue to become an even better experience as they strive to make everything they do a 5-star experience.
Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course
Played On 06/17/2016okay
This is an okay course in a place with many options and many good courses. IF you are staying at the Westin, easy access and should get preferred pricing which makes this a good first day option. Course if flat and not long. Lots of "sand" which is really just dirt. Generally, straight drives of 200 set you up for easy green access. A couple of challenging holes with water hazards but generally this is an easy course and you should score well.
PGA WEST Pete Dye Dunes Course
Played On 06/16/2016Okay, but....
For a shi shi address, this is an okay course. Short par 5's allow for easy scoring for the average golfer. Lots of sand........which is really hard dirt but if you stay out this is a course you should walk away from with a nice score. Great club house and food! Too many other courses in the valley to play before you get to this one. If you want to play here, try the mountain course.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course
Played On 06/15/2016Like this course
When in the valley we always play a round here. Friendliest course we have found. Nice layout, fun but not a killer tough by any means. Some holes have nice shade on a hot day! Back 9 is nicer than front. Might be a touch hard to find if you don't know your way around so allow time to arrive.
Verde River Golf & Social Club
Played On 10/23/2014nice desert course
a bit of a drive, but a nice and fun desert course and a great price.
Arizona Golf Resort
Played On 01/21/2013Classic, old country club
Classic "old" country club course. Very flat and open, fast play and value for the money, but not a stunning or memorable course
Power Ranch Golf Club
Played On 01/20/2013fun and challenging
good golf, great price if on golfnow. A little bit of a drive, but worth it.
