Only negative thing to say is playing 18 can be frustrating when you make the turn and get slowed down. The starter did his best to maintain order but we played tge front nine in an hour and 20 mins, it took roughly 20 mins to tee off again and then the back nine took us roughly 2 hours and 15 mins.

As for the course I really enjoy it and the condition is overall great. Typically play the course with no woods which makes it little more fun.

Hackers paradise. Greens cant hold anything. No starter or monitoring of pace of play.

If you are looking for even decent amenities skip Deltona. The carts are beat up ready to die, bald tires and backfiring. Our cart backfired several times and scared the you know what out of golfers around us. The range is like hitting of dirt. The course itself lays out well and the green are decent to be fair. However that have no signs at tee boxes and they have swapped 10 & 1 but kind of failed to mention that. Trying to find where the next hole is counts for the slow play. Other than having a local with us we wouldn’t have made it through the round. Again the course lays out well with doglegs right and left but without a course map and no real signage from the tee box you have no idea where the greens are. The staff although friendly leave something to be desired. The clubhouse is just a trailer and so no real 19th hole at all.

Again, this course is supper unique for Florida with changes in elevation and greens are good. There is no water on the course but lots of bunkers to make up for it. It makes for any easy day to play with one ball. With some TLC this course could be a great place to play.

Need to get new carts, signage and upgrade the range. The clubhouse would be nice if upgraded but the most important.

Always a great round to drive out to Eustis and play Deer Island. Whether it the beautiful scenery or the challenging course layout, It is always great to play a round here.

Seems thta they have a few greens in repair right now but all in all you can’t compete with the price for the course.

Great course. Unique layout for the area. Makes for a nice challenge and the course is kept in very good condition!
