Two friends and I have been playing at Ansty for a couple of months. On the whole, we are genuinely pleased with how the course is. We take into consideration the time of year, course conditions and weather. We certainly take the rough with the smooth. However, today, we came in after 9 as the weather conditions proved difficult to manage. One of our playing group had forgotten his mittens and umbrella, therefore he was soaked and hands were very cold and was feeling exceptionally uncomfortable. When in the pro-shop, we asked if we could have the back 9 on credit. Our intention was to book for next week and pay the remaining 9 holes after the credited 9. However, we were told this was not possible and I quote, ' we don't do that'. This was disappointing to hear. We understood they may have policies to follow but I felt they could have offered us the opportunity for credit, all based on our circumstances. Our round cost us £18 for 9 holes, which is very excessive and wouldn't have payed thst much for 9. We all were extremely disappointed with the customer service and we will not return again.
