Course, as always, was in great condition. Clubhouse staff was great. But…… my tee time was 11:07. I arrived an hour early to get loosened up and practice a bit. I was on the putting green when the starter called my name - at about 10:30 - and informed me that he was partnering me up with a single. I was scheduled to be in a foursome so I found this a bit odd. I questioned him but he insisted that the two of us go now. The tee is open!! So away we went. We played they first hole unimpeded. Got to the second tee and there are four groups on the hole. My playing partner was a bit nervous about how slow it was going to be and after waiting about 15 minutes - and not having teed off yet - he says he has to go to work later and there will not be enough time at this pace so I am going to get a rain check. That leaves me as a single. I played the rest of the round at a very slow pace. Luckily it rained a couple of times and some people quit and I was able to play a few holes without being held up. Just feel that the starter should not have sent out a twosome on a Saturday when the course was booked solid.

The only problem was that the greens had suffered badly from the heat and drought of the tar summer. Other than that the course is outstanding!! Would definitely okay again.

Great course and facility. The only sour point was the attitude of the starter. He acted like since we were not regulars we were not important. He also gave us some attitude that was not deserved. We had to travel 1 1/2 hours to play here so made sure we were an hour early. Wouldn't give us a cart and just acted like we were not there. Yucked it up pretty good with his buddies though. It made a very nice course/experience not so good. I would definitely play there again but if he was there and did the same garbage I would make SURE the pro was very aware. He shouldn't be in a position of dealing with the public with that kind of disposition. People do not need this when they are spending their hard earned $. Didn't seem like he was just having a bad day since he treated the regulars just fine. Maybe it was because we were trunk slammers but still no excuse. Again, the course was great even with the plugged greens except for this guy. We are golfing our way across the US and this was our Delaware stop.Its a shame that we will have this as a memory of an otherwise good experience.

The condition of this course has improved 10 fold in the last few years. I have played it since it opened and has become a hidden gem!

Tremendous improvement over the last time I played there. My only gripe is that I received an email from Golfnow for a $10 credit but it would not allow me to redeem it. It did not recognize the promo code.
