So sick. Caught me by surprise. Top 100 Public You Can Play

If this course was appropriately rated, it would be my 11th top 100 course I’ve played. So legit. Conditioning is FLAWLESS.

I will say that you don’t have to be a bomber and the fairways are most definitely generous but you have to have a good idea of where the stick is on the green. Some of the toughest putting surfaces anywhere. But the course isn’t long so you are able to always have a shot. I shot a 78 and I’m a 7.4 handicap. Had 4 birdies hit 6 doubles and 8 3 putts. Once you’ve seen the greens you’ll know why. It’s a well manicured Tobacco Road. Just so sick.

Scenic, challenging yet fair

Solid course, some great views, and some holes are super hard, especially when the wind is whippin. Clubhouse doesn’t look like much from outside but is pretty nice inside. Make sure you start out hot on 1-5. 6-7 are incredibly difficult. 13 is very difficult as well. Enjoyable round. Lots of bugs though

LIGHTNING greens, great service, great track

5 Star all the way. The conditions were great and it’s a great layout. Just an awesome golf course without any resort feel. Best bang for your buck course I’ve ever played. It was $45 or so and I preferred it over TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley and Slammer and Squire. It’s a must when you’re golfing in St. Augustine. You won’t regret it.

Worth every penny

If you’re like me and search for deals and try to get the best bang for your buck, you can be pretty critical of courses you pay over $100. But this course is worth it. Play this course if you have the chance. If you’re making a golf trip to St. Augustine this has to be in it. We played TPC dye’s Valley, St. John’s, Slammer and Squire as well. And this was everyone in our group’s number one. Hole 15 was one of my favorite courses I’ve ever played. Conditions are immaculate

TPC Sawgrass - Dye's Valley Course

Really solid golf course - unbelievable facility.

It’s on the same grounds as the PGA, The Player’s Stadium Course and it’s all included in the experience when you play Dye’s Valley. I don’t have the skill or willingness to play The Player’s course but wanted to play dye’s Valley because of the rankings and namesake. It was SICK. Everything is top of the line and you feel like a pro with the facilities.

After the round we had a drink and app on the back patio and it was beautiful. It’s worth paying the rate to take this all in. We had a great time.

Great setting, cool layout, can be picturesque

It’s a pretty straightforward course. It was the first of 4 courses we played in St. Augustine (we played TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley, King and Bear, and St. John’s Golf and Country Club) and it was everyone’s fourth ranked course. However, it’s still a really good track. The people and service are top notch.

Greens were a little chewed up but overall it was in good shape.

The setting with the World Golf Hall of Fame is really cool. Especially Hole 9.
