Front 9 is "straightforward" back 9 gives a little more challenge. I particularly like this course because of the long T boxes. Some holes you can play 100 yd difference. I just like that option. I mean I'm not stuck playing 350 yd par 4.

Very challenging course, but I love a challenge. The first problem was the water. Not the courses fault just rainy season. The second problem is foliage. I play from the back tees and it was hard to know where to hit ball sometimes. Third problem is what makes this course long is the par 3's. Although I did par the 235 yard par 3.

Wow! Talk about ball placement. This course is set up to really test your skills. I really enjoyed it. Just a little short for me but I didn't use my driver until the 5th hole. Excellent course!

Did not know the course so I played from the gold. Not to brag but I am a pretty good golfer. I thought the fairways would be narrower, because of the woods. Was not to challenging for me fairways were wide. Only a few holes had water in play. Greens were great. I will play it again.

The course is a little short for me, but the design makes up for length. Many dog legs which I like requires good driving placement of the ball. That's what makes the game of golf fun and challenging. Greens were in good shape a little confusing on the cut. They looked slow, but were fast.

Very challenging course. East course is long. West course is challenging.

I knew the greens were just air rated. Surprisingly they grew back fast. This proves they know how to take of the course.

Just by watching golf I've learned how to play some of the holes. I made it through Amen Corner even par. Overall course was very fun to play. Texas greens, however are slow. A putt in Florida with just a tap takes a little more effort in Texas.

Very nice course design. Challenging fairways and holes. My only set back was I was not use to the greens, a little on the rough side. I was told by a local the have to stay high or risk the chance of the grass burning from the Texas sun.

I played early in the morning. What a surprise the greens were so fast while being still wet. The sable course is very narrow make sure you keep your drives short and straight. Their grand course is too short for me to play.I did not play the Royal course was too crowded.

The course is very tight your shots need to be precise. Amazingly the greens were in excellent condition after this busy winter season. If you want to put a challenge in your game this course is for you.
The only bad part for me was some of the short par fours. But I have to play my game and just use a hybrid or Fivewood to give me a challenge. Because I play from the back tees.

Long enough to test your length. Greens were hard to read, but that's the game. I'm a big hitter so I was very happy.

Overall My friends and I had a wonderful time. I was surprised, some of the course was worn down. Maybe from all the summer play. I expected more, because this where they play the Honda Classic.
This is a very challenging course, with strategically placed sand traps and undulating greens. Worth the experience. Thanks Golfnow!

The hills from the beach make this course very fun to play. There are a lot of elevated greens. Some flat holes challenged by wind from the water. Everything you need to keep up your game is on this course.

I've heard this is used for qualification for the Honda Classic. It's challenging but fun.

A good course to play. Greens are great, fairways require a strategically placed drive.

Overall the course is good. I like long courses and this is one of them. However, it seems that maintenance is off for the summer which will make this an ok course for this coming winter.

This course is covered with oversized bunkers. Either you hit before them or over them depending on your distance. The fairways are suprizingly wide. Even with a bad shot in your playing you still may have a chance to recover. I was suprized at the small greens and basically flat, but they are extremely fast, so a delicate chip or putt will get you close to the hole. I recommend the course to those who may want to practice thier bunker playing, because even the best player will find one or two in their round.

The course is short for the long player, but the stategically placed bunkers makes a short fairway challeging. The greens also bring a good sometimes difficult challenge beacause of thier slope and size. If you don't have much time but need to keep your game up this course will be perfect.

With the challenging greens, comes some long holes blocked by water or doglegs. Laying up with a 3 wood is the best way to attack those holes. The course will also challenge your long iron shots:playing from the back gives the shortest par 3 195 yards, all over water.
