WestWynd Golf Course
Played On 10/17/2014Great course
Westwynd is one of my favorite courses to play.
Normal rates are a little out of my range as a retiree, but the Golf Now and Fall rates makes this a great bargain to play at this time.
They have switched the two nines around for starting purposes. They said it is to bring the halfway house in to play at a better time.
They aereated the greens and fairways, but that did not cause much probems for us.
Great layout and beautiful surrondings. Check this course out if you get the chance.
Copper Ridge Golf Course
Played On 05/26/2014Course needs work
The layout has great potential. In the past this course was a great deal and fun to play. But sadly, the care has fallen quite a bit. The fairways were mostly clover and dandelions.
I know we had a brutal winter and very wet spring. Mowing any course has been tough. But this course is way behind others I have played this year. And there is no way the weather has been the problem with treating the fairway weeds.
The course has been going down hill for a few years now. Greens were very bumpy. Sad to say I may be through playing the course.
Unless you can play for under 20 bucks, I say pass on this course.
Coyote Preserve Golf Club
Played On 6/18/2013Beautiful setting and great layout, but...
For a course that lays out as nice as this one, I really expected much better greens. They were very slow and rough and the ball did not roll smoothly. We golfed early afternoon, so I don't think is was a mowing problem. My friends in the group said they were actually better than in the past.
I don't think I would pay the regular rate to play here. But if you can find a decent discount rate, it is worth the money. It's kind of a shame, as the course is really nice looking.
