Tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were decent but rough in some places. Some of the rough was just that, rough; but some areas of rough were very playable. Sand was normal for the ones I was in but one in my group thought they were hard in some. Oddly, no rakes at any traps. 18th hole had sand just dumped in so unplayable. Greens were firm in parts but held well for the most part. They were fast but true and in great shape.

The greens and tees and fringes are in great shape. The fairways and sand traps are not. The fairways are lumpy and clumpy while the sand traps are either wet or hard or both.

Last spring the course was undergoing a re greening of the fairways and although the course was open the playing conditions were very poor. Now, 10 weeks later the course is in great condition from border to border. Fully green throughout.

I used to play here often in the late 60s and early 70s. Only once since then about 5 years ago. But always enjoyed the challenge of the course. And the snack bar grill has great food.

Fairways still a little rough but the greens were in great shape. Fast and true. Pace of play was due to our own miscues and nothing due to the course.

Got lucky this day. Played in 3 hours. Once played a tournament here with full field and never finished. Course is pretty green throughout, but grass is spongy. Not too difficult a course and some challenging holes. Snack bar staff very friendly. Would play again around same time, 11:15, since pace was good. Played as a single, caught up to another single around 5th hole, who was following a threesome. Finished front nine in just over an hour and back nine in just under 2, despite following the threesome.

First time playing here. Very green throughout the course. Challenging greens make putting fun. Pace of play a problem as a foresome jumped ahead of us and played very slow until we called the clubhouse to have a marshall ask them to pick up the pace or let us pass since they ignored us as we approached the tees. They did pick up the pace and reversed direction on back nine to let us pass. Finished in less than 4 hours. Narrow fairways at times but nice layout. Definitely will play again. Former members stared at us as we entered the clubhouse lounge where no one was available to serve us at that time so did not purchase anything. They may still be in transition to public, but each person contacted was very accommodating.

Have played here twice in past couple months after long span. Noticed trees have grown to narrow the fairways on a few holes. Back tees make two par 3s 200 - 215 yards, so, challenging. Three elevated tees give great panoramas of Riverside area. Sand was hard and dry, though. Enjoyed the course.
