Skylinks Golf Course
Played On 06/01/2019Wet sand bunkers awful
Greenside bunkers filled with wet sand, impossible to play out of. Terrible sprinkler system, greens keeper should be fired. $63 for slop, way overpriced.
Recreation Park American Golf Club
Played On 08/03/2017Greens were awful
Played here 8/3/17 Thursday afternoon and the greens were uncut, bumpy and slow. Usually the greens here are good, so they must have hired a new greenskeeper who has no idea what he is doing. Find a new greenskeeper if you want people to come back.
Lakewood Country Club
Played On 06/05/2017Cups caved in
Decent course but the edges on every cup were caved in. This decreases the size of the hole and causes many lip outs. Disappointing management doesn't have new cups cut every day. It's a minor labor cost that makes a huge difference in the quality of the course.
South Par 3 at Alondra Park Golf Course
Played On 05/23/2017Worst greens ever
Why bother playing golf if your ball wobbles on the putting green and doesn't roll? The greens at Alondra are like putting on a bumpy sponge. Good luck one putting. If you did you were either 1 foot away or got lucky and your ball hit the right bump just before the hole. WORST GREENS EVER. And the fairways are like concrete.
Victoria Golf Course
Played On 04/29/2017Terrible maintenance and ownership decisions
The greenside bunkers were like concrete - greens were uncut and shaggy - fairways and tee boxes were uncut. These are all easily fixable with a greenskeeper that has a brain. Or perhaps its ownership that has cut back on manpower because they have lost so much revenue on having no drivng range for months. To think they are spending a huge amount on a new driving range that was not needed, and not put that money into the awful fairways and basic course maintenance, shows how bad the ownership is. And all that money they spent on a new parking lot. Another waste of money that could have been used to improve the COURSE. With terrible ownership decisions like these, one day this course will close down.
Bluff Creek Golf Course
Played On 7/5/2013Rude starter
Played today with two other singles, and at the turn the starter named Johnson demanded one of us give up our cart. Not only was this an inconvenience and put us all in a bad mood, it slowed our pace of play down. Management needs to hire starters who are as nice and customer service oriented as the pro shop staff was. One bad apple spoiled the cart.
I am sorry that you had that experience. Our rangers and starters try their best to ensure a great time be had by all. If he came across with that attitude, i would like to apologize for him. No matter what our cart policy is, he should have treated you with more respect. Please email me, Mike, General Manager, at generalmanager@bluffcreek.com if you would like to comment any further. I will discuss your comment to his direct manager, and will make sure that type of attitude will not be tolerated.
