For a public golf course it is in fairly good condition. The greens are not especially fast, but does roll true.
The pace of play is fairly good.
The course amenities could use some improvement. The pro shop had very little stock. The area for getting drinks was very weak.

We have played this course for several years with wonderful reviews. Unfortunately it looks as if the course is currently under new ownership and has been neglected prior to purchase. Needs much needed work on tee boxes and the greens. I do love the course layout and the course amenities. Hope new owners work to make this a nice course again.

This is a great course for those who want something with variety and value. There is one issue that needs to be addressed: the restrooms were all locked up at the clubhouse and at the 10th tee lot of golfers still on the course. No restroom facilities available.

The course was closed on this day. I want to thank Apolllo Beach Golf Course for contacting us letting us know the course was closed due to the large amount of rain the previous day.

This is a nice course in need of some watered fairways. The greens are in fair condition.
What is mostly disturbing about this course is the individuals jumping in front of groups during the round. This has now happened to our group three times playing this course as well as one group of 4 playing at the pace of a snail with two open holes in front of them.

The Claw at USF is normal a pleasant round of golf. On this particular day It was not a pleasant day of golf. There was a group of 6 individuals play their round of golf together. A male golfer and a female golfer playing golf with one set of golf clubs and giving the female golfer instructions (she swung 5 to 6 times missing the ball each time) on the course holding up play. The course already backed up. Unfortunately the rest of the golfers had to patiently put up with the selfish golfers on the course.

The course has improved since I last played this course. Overseeing has improved the tee boxes, fairways and greens. Greens rolling true and with good pace.

The course is fairway to tee have greatly improved. The greens are in great shape as well and are rolling at a good pace. The pace of play was on target on the front, but backed up on the back nine. We did play in 4 hours thought.

Earlier in the year the course was in fairly good condition. As the year has gone it seems to be lacking in attention. The tee to green is fair and the greens are starting to show stress.

I do enjoy this course and would recommend to friends. Just hoping to see some care put into the course.

This course needs a Lot of improvement. Greens are slow. Many spots on green are bare, and trimming is a must.
No Marshall to keep play moving along.

Wonderful Golf course. Beautiful practice facilities, the greens are very undulated, but fair, the course layout is great and the overall experience is terrific.

This course is in fair condition. The rough is basically very thin if much grass in many places. The greens are in fair condition, but are not consistant. The amount of money to play is not even reasonable due to condition of course, rate of play and the overall course amenities.

Wonderful course to play. Staff friendly, course in great shape, fantastic layout and very quick true greens,.

The course is in wonderful condition. Well laid out course, greens roll true and the fairways are in great condition.

The course has great holes and is very challenging.
