Good and Getting Better....

Under new ownership, this golf course is getting better each time I play it. The practice facility is top notch. The bermuda greens are fast and roll smooth. Combine that with the elevated greens and this course becomes a bear. The scenery and elevation change make it a great course to play. All of the fairways were overseeded and the were in perfect shape. The new clubhouse is under construction, but the staff is welcoming and glad to have you there.

Target golf.

The staff (mainly the pro shop manager ) Seems to not want golfers who aren’t members there. Our foursome was purchased on Golfnow for the hot rate and it seemed as though we were treated as such. There was no water available on course or beverage cart and there is no snack bar, just a water and ice station inside the pro shop. For the money these guys charge for this course, you would think they would be very cordial and welcoming. This was not the first time I had dealt with this guy. The course was in ok shape for time of year, but the greens were very slow and needing attention. I’m sure out of town guests may find this course beautiful due to the area and the views on the back nine, but it’s definitely not worth over 100.00 during peak season.

Very wet

Huge amount of rain the night before made it Carr path only. Greens are fast but have some problem areas. Dormant grass throughout. Range was closed due to water. Sullys restaurant Was great. Overall good value for the money!

Rates were too high but....

The course was in good condition. The fairways were firm and the greens were in good shape. Course was packed. The only problem I have with RC is that the driving range is irons only. Didn't used to be but it is now. The course is fairly narrow, so being able to warm up with your tee clubs is really necessary. 59.00 was a little excessive in my book, but it was packed so I guess they don't have a problem with that rate. There really isn't much of an option there for food however.

Great condition

This course is normally hit or miss. But when we played the greens were in very good shape. The grass was dormant, but when summer hits this place should be great.
