The golf makes it worth this experience
Since last played in the nineties the course has changed . But the water bottle and towel that represents a resort course. Was missing! A small but important aspect of being important. And stamps the beginning of a round. It just not as impressive as it was. Shame to allow Covid to matter!

Above average for a resort course. It is tougher than the other resort courses. The traps are not all the same sand. The powder ones are very difficult. Good golfers 9 or less will enjoy green challenges , the rest of us it’s golf.. what you Should be looking for

It is A good golf course, friendly and well-maintained. With no gators , no see’ums in March. With decent greens

this is not a course to be played under these conditions. this has been a bad weather for the spring and greens are rather poor. this area has all bad greens except for the Resort courses .

A good public course not as well groomed as the resorts naturally but the greens were a little inconsistent. The layout is very reasonable and gives opportunities for shot-making.

Liked course, well maintained,, Greens 9 or ten on stint,. and consistent .

overall,, if problem the fluff powder sand traps ' very tough if not familliar them ' yardage was true and fairways large , . Rough was short and easy for a 85 to 90 type scorer.. Greens are hard and without back spin, tough to hold ,but large and pin locations necessary many greens were 60' by 30' .. Over all good for the money vs resort courses.

NO PROBLEMS ,,OTHER THAN VERY MOIST FAIRWAYS... greens are as fast as the price you pay

a 2 star course .... but interesting.. this might be good for southern Il. but this does have not grass fairways.. just weeds....greens are good to better .. but the rough around the edge of the greens is a very tough weed rough not higher grass ....
good was the tight fairways and the shot maker style design layout.... par 3 are long
Never been to Scotland but expect this is what it's like there ....... I like Michigan ( PGA ) type courses ..
so it might be good for this area... I guess..

over-watered due to heavy rains .. course a mess .. slow greens
