Poor Course Layout

Grand Summit had a decent practice area. Putting green was ok, and they even have sand to practice your bunker game. I did not go to the range but the yard markers didn't look great when I saw it from hole 16. Hole 16's fairway is absolutely littered with range balls thanks to it being a landing zone for slicers teeing up at the range. The course itself is very gimmicky. Since I had never played it, I had no idea where to hit half my tee shots. The greens were horribly cluttered with divots. I will not being returning do to the odd layout of the course.

Great Course

Great place to play. Worth the drive. The course is always in great shape, and playing from the tips isn’t too short like some of the other “local” type courses. Par 3’s are all going to be around 200+ yards so make sure your long irons are in tact. Fairways were in great condition for it being early in the season. Greens were a tad slow but nothing to complain about. Saw an eagle kill a rabbit on hole 4 my last time out so that was an added bonus.

My Go To Course, Unfortunate Day

I love playing St Andrews. It's always in great shape for the amount of play it gets. My last time out though they had a weather delay in the morning, but for some reason shoved everyone in back to back by the time my 1pm tee time came around. My group ended up waiting for nearly 30 minutes at a tee box because of all the groups that got bunched up. I did not get comped a free round nor was there an apology. We called the clubhouse to let them know and they didn't seem to do much. Just told us that they started throwing groups out too quickly... no duh... Also when are the going to stop hitting off the mats on the range and use the grass? Or do they always just use the mats? Anyway, other than that incident it's a great place to play. Would ALWAYS recommend to a friend. It's my go to course.

Good Course, But Stick to St Andrews

I played in a birthday scramble here and was surprised at how great of shape the course was in. I did not expect one of the most popular courses in the area to be in such great shape. If you are even remotely of a long hitter I suggest playing the tips. Overall it's a nice track and you won't lose many balls because all the holes run alongside one another. This is nice for difficulty, but makes the course a little boring. If you can sneak on to St Andrews I would shoot for that. Make this your second option if you're tied down to playing in OP.

Good Value

You can find great deals for this course on Golf Now. You get what you pay for though. The course itself is getting in better condition here in June. I am satisfied with the quality of the course for what I'm paying for, what I'm not satisfied with is everything else. The rangers a painfully bad at having any awareness. They don't know how to push slow golfers along. They also made me ride with another single which i'm usually ok with, but they had a ton of extra carts. I told them I'd prefer to ride by myself to improve pace of play. The ranger didn't understand this concept and I ended up riding with someone who would have been better off driving to his own ball over in the rough every hole. If you play here on the weekend you will be playing at a 4-5+ hour pace thanks to the rangers. Again, the course is great for the value. The management just might need to do a better job of scheduling tee times, and rangers need to stop hanging around and talking.

Nice Course for Cheap

Booked this course through a Hot Deal tee time as through Golf Now as I always do, and I must say, it was a good choice. The course itself was in good shape for it being spring time still. There are some really fun, challenging par 3's on the front nine with the correct pin placements. Overall it's a good course for the value. Greens weren't amazing but nothing to complain about at the pricepoint. My one complaint about this place is the check in process. The old guys who took care of me were very nice but GOODNESS they were slow as molasses. It was very odd to see how inefficient they were at checking people in. My advice to you is to be early for your tee time. Other than that it was a joy to play. I shot a great score and watched a random guy I played with snap his 7 iron over a 150 yard marker. Still laughing about that...

Odd Course

It pains me to give The Deuce only three stars. Let me start with the positives... The greens were pretty nice and rolled well. The fairways and bunkers were also in great shape. The complimentary range balls and the range itself is very nice. Now, the negatives. The course had no fringe around the greens.. It just went from green to rough. I found this very odd. I hated it actually. Especially because the rough was very thick and high at the time. I understand being penalized for missing the fairway, but when my ball rolls off the green I don't want to be in the thick rough. The other negative I have is that the course is horrible at directing you on where to go for the next hole. I ended up getting lost with my playing partner and just skipped a hole altogether. It's a shame because the course is in good condition, but they are just lacking a few things in my opinion for their price point.

Must be Accurate

This course punishes you hard for missing the fairway. The course itself was in pretty good condition given recent rain. Greens were fairly quick and rolled true. It's a good course if you know what to expect going into it. I will say I was very displeased with the "driving range". There was a sign asking you to only use irons. And the grass to hit on wasn't well maintained at all. Also no chipping green, just a small putting green. All in all a very tough, well maintained course.

Fun Course

Drove pretty far to try Tiffany Greens out. It was worth it. Course conditions were amazing given we had a downpour that flooded parts of KC the night before. Pace of play was the only negative, but it wasn't too horrible considering groups were going off right after each other. I'm assuming they might not have started taking tee times until the course dried up some. Fun course though pretty open with holes you can get aggressive with. The rangers were very friendly as well.

Good Course

It is a good course and is as advertised. Only thing is that they only have yard markers at (i'm assuming 150 yards) on each hole. Nothing more, nothing less. I checked sprinkler heads at every hole and could not find a single distance to the pin. I'm not one to have a gps watch or a range finder so to me, this was extremely frustrating.
Also, as I got further into my round I became stuck behind a foursome of older gentleman. The type of people who were throwing putters into the sand (not kidding) and maybe seemed entitled to something because they were members. That is me speculating but it was very annoying how they took their time, had poor golf etiquette, and would not let me play through them as a single.
For the sole reason of no yardages, I will not go back unless I have a friend with something that will give me exact yardages. Don't let this review fool you though, it is a nice course.

Great Course

Played Ironhorse spontaneously through deal through my Golf Now app. I went early to hit some range balls and use the putting green. Range was nice and the practice greens were better. Both in great shape. My tee time was very punctual as I went off with no wait. The course was in great shape and I have no complaints about it. The greens rolled perfectly and made putting a real joy. Best greens I've play on this year so far. Also I am a big fan of the gps in the golf carts.
