Third time playing here and first time in windy conditions. Makes some holes play very long. Great layout through rolling farm land. Definitely room to miss but off the tee but some holes can leave you is some tricky spot if you’re not careful. Lots of bunkers and greens were smooth and very fast.

Over the last 6 weeks I played here 4 or 5 times. Before that is had been a few years do to the almost unplayable condition the course was in.

The greens are great, fairways are coming back nicely With all the water they are putting on them. Since the make over and then the fire that came through the staff has done an outstanding job. If you remember this was a 36 hole facility which is now a 27. The Old valley course is now called the Valley (front 9) and Desert (back 9) and they kept the old mountain front 9 with the same name. The mountain 9 has not been in the rotation much as they are doing some work and letting it grow in. This week the bunkers had all been redo with sand added and were nice and fluffy (unfortunately I was in a few). Tee boxes were a little shaggy but very playable. This course can play very difficult depending on how bad you miss. If you’re a long hitter think about clubbing down as position is better than distance. New golf carts last week, very nice. I’ll be back again soon!

This was my second time playing here. I played with the assistant pro so I had to man up and play from the tips. Wind was a steady 20 most of the day. Greens were firim and fast but if you can put some spin on it nothing to worry about. Fairways were coming back nicely, just a few bunkers left that need to be worked on but most were in good shape and had been done. A few of the tee boxes could use a little leveling.

Overall the course was in great shape for early spring, staff was great and greens rolled good. I’ll be back on my next trip out from California.

First time playing here. Course was in great shape. Greens were quick which I generally like but due to the winds today (25 mph) I thought some of the pins were in location that were not good with the winds. Front nine is nice and wide with the back more narrow and require more irons off the tees for best placement and avoiding hazards. I will definitely be back on my next trip to the area.

Played here many times. Good track with nice and wide fairways to bomb it. 2 green has been in need of help for a long time but the rest are generally nice and smooth. Fairways are pretty good with your typical kikuyu grass. On 10 take driver and aim for the left or right rough. Everything in the middle will roll all the way back to the flat. Also anything short on your second will roll back 50 yards.

Played 36 the other day with under par coupon. Play here a couple time a year. Great course and layout. Very cold the day I went out but the course was in great shape. Good lies in the fairway. Greens were smooth, firm and fast. Only complaint I have was the green side bunkers were very thin at the bottom. Less than 1/2 os sand yet I have to flop it 8 plus feet up in some of the bunkers. Fairway bunkers were in better shape than the green side as far as amount of sand.

Got a great deal on golf now. Course was in great shape. Greens where nice and fast! The guy at the pro shop who checked me in gave the impression I was interrupting him. Went back in later and there were other staff there who were much more attentive. We let a single play though on the second par 3 with no one else behind or ahead of us. A short time later a marshal came out to tell us we were 7 min behind pace. RRALLY?! He said the pro shop wanted us to speed it up.

The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Rough was deep but playable. Unfortunately they had just dumped a load of sand on the greens and never said a word about it. Good layout and at $25 you really can't beat it. Would of had a better time if the greens were puttable.

They are having serious water issues here. The Valley course is still in so so shape. Let's start with the dirt fairways that haven't seen water in weeks. The greens are good but that is because that is the only thing on the mountain course that gets water. It really should be closed. Any price to play the mountain course it too much. Staff is super friendly tho. It just too bad the owner is so cheap and won't put money in to this gem to bring it back to what it once was!!
