This was a very nice course with excellent conditions. Very well maintained, very challenging and a joy to play. Well done Jack Nicklaus. A little pricey, however a great valentines treat. We also enjoyed the restaurant after our round. We highly recommend the beer batterered fish and chips.

What used to be a high end course has now become a low end experience! From the moment you arrive you can see the difference. The cart staff did not meet us at the bag drop. If you’re paying by credit card, you have to go to the dining room to access a terminal. When I asked if this was because of new ownership, I was told no, it’s been like this for “four” months. Driving range balls are no longer included in your green fees. Most groups had no idea how to get to the first tee and players who were grouped together were teeing off separately because the starter, has been replaced by the cart staff who were no where to be found. Combine this with a lack of grass on the fairways and you have a pretty mediocre golf experience.

The highlight of our day was lunch, which was included at a very reasonable price. The course however is in very poor condition, even for this time of year. We would not play it again or recommend it.
