This is a pretty course with lovely views but due to the financial mess the club appears to be in there is almost no maintenance. These are not really greens they are what your back garden would feel like if you worked hard on it for a month. There is rubbish everywhere and the fairways look a mess. I felt for the guy collecting the money/bookings in a tiny shed. He was very friendly but must be embarrassed at the state of the course

Abergele is in such great condition that this pretty and challenging course is well worth a visit. Staff could not be more helpful

Sandiway is a very challenging but extremely fair course. It is beautifully maintained with the right amount of rough with superb greens. This is a tough challenge but greatly rewarding.
