My first time playing. Long drive from Charlotte, but worth it. Good layout. No houses on the course. No roads nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape. Pace was fine, but not great at 4.5 hours. Only negative I would mention is the greens were soft and a little slow. I had a few approach shots plug on the greens. Not sure if they got a storm or they are having to water them a lot. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be back.

I try to play The Fort once or twice a year. It is a really enjoyable layout and the course is typically in good shape. The holes are memorable. There are plenty of tee options depending upon your skill level.

This unfortunately was a five hour round with a wait on every tee. I did see a ranger a few times, but the round didn't speed up much. Only other feedback is the greens usually are soft, so plenty of ball marks. With that being said, the greens rolled very well. I will be back and encourage others to check it out.

Purgatory is a little overpriced for me unless I can find a good deal. It is a fun course to play. The course looks great right now with the longer heather being burnt out. The greens were rolling very well. It is a challenging layout with plenty of tee options depending upon your skill level or length off the tee. I'll definitely be back. Only feedback I'd give is the course could/should play firmer. I'm not a superintendent, and I know the recent weather (lots of rain to very hot) is probably challenging, but this course would be more fun if the fairways/approaches/greens were watered less.

I always enjoy Bear Slide. It can get a little wet with rain, but with the recent hot weather, it was perfect. I really like the layout of the course. There are some weird holes on the back, but keeps you on your toes. Definitely recommend making a trip up to this course when you can. If it gets windy, it can be a tough course. Without wind, it is challenging, but fair.

This was our final round on a Michigan golf trip. I trusted the reviews and they were validated. The course was in great shape and was challenging, yet fun. Only negative was all of the water containers on the course were empty. Other than that it was a great experience.

This course is in a beautiful area. The course is in great shape. Staff were very friendly. As an average golfer (7 handicap) the greens were too difficult for my liking. They rolled great. They have a lot undulation and depending upon pin placements, it can be very difficult. Other than that the course is a must see.

I played the north course with a hot deal. Pace of play was great. I played in 3 hours or so. Course is in good shape. Bunker work has been completed. The greens did have some small punch holes in them, but they didn't affect the putts. The greens rolled well. Even with all of the hot weather, the course had been watered well and was responsive. It is a straightforward course that is enjoyable.

This was my second time playing this course. The first time I didn't enjoy myself, as it was very difficult to find my ball many times, and I didn't know my way around. This round, being earlier in the year, the rough was shorter, and more enjoyable. I also played with someone that knew the course. The gps units on the carts weren't working. The course conditions were excellent and challenging.

This is a great municipal course north of Indy. The course is in great shape. It is fair, yet challenging.

Course was in perfect shape minus the bunkers, which were a bit damp due to the overnight rain. This was my first time playing this course, and I will be back. It was recommended to me by a number of people, and they were right. The greens are quick and tough.

The north course was relatively easy. The greens were in good shape. The majority of the bunkers were unplayable due to rain and maintenance. This course can be played quickly. We had to wait a good bit, and still played under 4 hours. It is away from houses and roads. Also, you don't pass the clubhouse at the turn.

This course will challenge you to use different clubs off the tee with placement for the second shot very important. The course was in good condition. A few holes are difficult to view from tee. Be sure to have gps or course layout from pro shop.
