A few of the greens were in need of some care. They were burned out and matted down. The green on Hole 13 actually had some unearthed activity. Course plays well and could be great with some additional attention to the greens.
Also, I planned to play alone, so I could beat traffic, but I was paired with two addition golfers. So what was supposed to be a quick 2.5hr practice round, turned into a 5hr round. Not fun being in traffic.

Great course. A few minor dings on tee boxes, and small patches on fairways. Definitely working to bring it back, but still a great course. Not great shape, but good shape. Friendly staff and overall great place to play!

Course was in good shape. There were a few GUR areas that were identifiable from the tee. Fairways were plush and greens were awesome and quick.
Definitely looking to come back soon!

Played yesterday at 4:22p and it wasn’t worth the $27 we paid. Greens were is very bad shape! Tee boxes had lots of sand and turtle shell like. Definitely not worth paying over $25 in the morning. Course is really lacking maintenance. Won’t be back for at least 6mos.

During this quarantine one staffer wore gloves and another didn't. Figured that paying over $50 that the course would be in decent shape, but it wasn't. We should have played the front 9 twice.
My friends were quoted $45, but attendant said that was wrong and attempted to charge them $69.
Course really needs water. The fairways were just tight lies, and no real grass except for parts of the rough. Greens were nice and quick, which is the only saving grace.
Won't be back for a long time!

This course is always great to play. The reason for the low rating was only because we received rain the night before, and the course doesn’t drain too well. The staff can’t manage Mother Nature, so definitely not their fault.
I definitely will play here again. Just not after a bad storm.

This was by far the best course I’ve played this year. The conditions were PERFECT. Fairways and greens were in spectacular shape. I’d definitely would recommend the North course over the South!!

I never have seen this course NOT in top condition. It's always been at the top of the list for me and my buddies. I pass 3 courses before getting to this one.

I brought my step dad here and he didn't know the course existed. He loved the layout and how challenging the course was. He quickly learned that while it looks open, you must hit the fairways. To be off by a few feet means you will be battling low laying tree branches. We both played well.
A replay is already in the forecast!!!!!
Don't waste your time or your money!
First, this was our second course of the day. Earlier we played Sarasota National. Figured if the shrubs spelling out "Imperial Lakes" along I-75, the course must be in top shape. That was our first mistake. While we only played the twilight rate, the course was in HORRIBLE condition. After the first hole, I decided to not try to putt anything. The rough leaked into the dismal fairway, and every green was burnt to bits.
There is obviously no money going into the upkeep. I wouldn't be surprised if this course isn't closed by the end of the year.

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize you had a bad experience. Since taking over the course 2 years ago, we have made progress in several areas, while other areas have been difficult to remedy. In October, we hired a new course superintendent and made the conscious decision NOT to overseed the course with “winter ryegrass.” We knew this decision would expose some weak turf areas in the dormant winter season. However, this will give us a much better growing opportunity as the Spring and Summer temperatures heat up and the turfgrass becomes “workable” we are confident that in the coming warmer months we will see a dramatic improvement in all turf areas thru extensive maintenance practices.
