Sandhill Crane Golf Club - Championship Golf Course
Played On 07/10/2018Many dogleg holes, ware area carries to challenge driving accuracy.
The course itself was in very good condition except for some sand on several greens. There is some construction renovation going on involving concrete trucks but it was being managed very well and didn’t interfere with play.
There was a young family of four in front of my threesome that slowed our pace of play to some degree and probably should’ve been told to let us play through by the Ranger but since it’s off-season, and I am a family man myself, it was nice to see mom and dad introducing their two children to the game of golf!
Jupiter Dunes Golf Course
Played On 07/03/2018Didn’t know it was an Executive course.
It’s possible that I simply overlooked it but when I booked the golf course, I had no idea it was just an executive course with a par 54. Every hole is a par three and some are so ridiculously short at 70 to 60 yards long that even a half swing using my gap iron club over flew the green.
I really think that Golfnow should consider separating executive courses from regular courses so that people know what they’re signing up for. I don’t believe it’s spelled out clearly when looking to book reservations. Just my suggestion. I’ll be more careful next time and Google the golf course and find out all the details before booking my next round.
Colts Neck Golf Club
Played On 09/06/2016Best of the Best'
I have played close to 50 different golf courses this summer and Colts neck is definitely in the top five of that group.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
Played On 08/08/2016Worst course conditions I've ever played.
Terrible burnt out greens, tee boxes were dirt holes and rough was nothing more than crabgrass. Won't go back there again.
Royce Brook Golf Club - West Golf Course
Played On 07/01/2016Always a pleasure to play this course.
Everything is enjoyable and accommodating on this course. The driving range is conveniently located and the staff is pleasant and professional. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. I have played many courses in central NJ and this is one of the finest.
The Architects Golf Club
Played On 06/28/2016This course has scenic views and secluded holes.
I've played this course several times in the past and it is one of those courses that is on my "must play" list - TWICE annually even though it is probably 50 miles/one hour from my home in Middlesex County. The course is always in immaculate condition and is among my Top 10 List and I've played most of the golf courses in New Jersey. Club house is also beautiful with good food and drinks.
