The greens are terrible and there is no excuse. They either do not have the money to maintain the greens or do not have a greens keeper who knows what he is doing. It’s sad. It’s not worth playing there right now. Mold, dirt, etc on greens and tons of patches where there is not grass. A nice layout but greens are awful right now. Don’t bother playing unless it’s a hot deal under $20.

Course is really sweet! Keep it in the fairway! Wild grasses off the fairway make it hard to locate an errant drive. Greens are great. Beautiful course!

Course was in good shape and played difficult due to high winds, especially on back nine, but it was fun as a result!

The layout is quite plain with the holes not having much variety and manly basically looking the same. The plain design makes their claim of a championship course very exaggerated. However, their big and fast greens are quite nice, making it a little bit more championship like, although despite their crowned nature, most of them are pretty flat and lack character. Too bad you can’t take the quality of the greens and move it to nearby Bay Point GC, a much better layout and track but whose greens are in terrible condition right now. Another thing that is disappointing about Holiday is that you cannot hit woods on the driving range, so when you are warming up, you can’t warm up with the most important club, the driver.

If they get this course in better shape with the new maintenance crew, which I sure hope they do, it will be awesome because the layout is beautiful and the views are great!

Beautiful layout and views from the upper holes and a well conditioned, championships layout with history back to Bobby Jones playing there. Greens are large and slopped but fair. The course is just special!

This state park course is outstanding for the price. Greens are fast and the course is well maintained. Layout is great!

Question is why are the greens slow when other courses in the area are not? Is it reference or necessity? Also very wet and squishy around the greens. However, it is a beautiful layout and many picturesque holes. Would play again if greens were faster.

Course was very nice all the way around. Only issue was some spotches of longer grass mixed in with the proper grass on the fairways and greens, which made it not even ground in places. Understandable to have that in the fairways maybe but not on the greens in places. Other than that, the course was in good shape and the layout and staff were great.

The greens were way too slow for a course of that price. Paid $72.00 yet greens were slow and some tee boxes were sandy and not very grassy. Bunkers were packed sand of grey color as well. Enjoyed the round because I hit the ball straight, but if my driver was not on, it would have been a long day since the course is very tight and tree lined. Need to speed up the greens. Nicklaus Course was closed so had to play the Meadows. Enjoyed it but it was not worth the price.

Love it. Played early and beat the pro to the course. The course was great and greens were awesome! Love the layout and the views and everything about it. Will play on next visit again.
