Charlie Yates Golf Course
Played On 03/07/2024Great value for money.
Short 9 holes that’s perfect for decent and beginner players. Some solid holes and a couple of interesting over water shots from the back and middle tees. Happily knock out 9 holes there again anytime. Absolutely recommend it!
The Links at Terranea

Played On 03/14/2023Decent to good public course around ATL.
The starter seemed a little confused about his job but was a very nice older guy and so no big deal there. The course is in decent to good condition especially considering the weird weather the grounds keepers are having to deal with atm. The staff are great here. Super friendly and helpful. Really impressed with their “can-do” attitudes. The driving range and chipping, putting green and bunker options for practice are great! I normally play in CA and honestly the courses there seem much better maintained than any public courses I’ve played around ATL but so far as local public courses around ATL go that I’ve played, Heritage is the best maintained and I’d happily play her again. Even if the group of old ladies in front of us were slow and 100% stole both our golf balls as we drive up to our approach shots!
Golf Summerlin - Palm Valley Course
Played On 08/15/2021Open fairways, limited trouble, driver off most tees.
One of the few LV course that doesn’t charge non-residents millions to play it. Nice course, surrounded by housing development. Totally worth the $47 a round that it cost me at 3pm on a Sunday.

$50 on a Sunday was a great deal for this course. The signature hike is stunning. Nearly 5k feet elevation for 220yrd par 3. Played about 185yrds. Layout is great, plenty to think about without it being overbearing.
Sand Canyon Country Club
Played On 07/08/2017It is back!
So they have created a new 18 hole course out of the 36 holes they used to have. They have worked hard and have created a kind of Vegas style course. less fairway, more sanded areas. I really liked what they have done to some holes and that they have also left other holes alone and they are just like they were. They were still doing work on the course and hanging a roof over the driving range stalls when we played there 3 weeks ago on 7/8/17. I'd say the course itself was about 90% and the peripherals were about 70%, so Im guessing by now, its pretty close to completed. I will definitely play here again, just like i used to when they had 2 courses. I am very happy that the old Robinson Ranch is back under the new name of Sand Canyon Country Club.. I'll be back for sure.. Just make sure you tee off early or late, cause its bloody hot out there in the summer!
Oak Quarry Golf Club
Played On 03/06/2016Good course. Below average staff and facilities.
nice course. lazy uninterested pro-shop employee. Only 1 outside attendant. Range closed. no food cart. halfway house closed. disgruntled bar staff in clubhouse. and $95 a round at 12pm!
