Fairways Country Club
Played On 01/11/2022Pretty Good Course. Fast Greens.
Friendly Staff. Decent Carts.
Course in fair shape. The greens are very good and fast.
Some tee boxes need TLC but that can be said for the majority of local courses. Would play again.
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/08/2020Great Day
From Tee to Green Eagle Creek is in great shape.
The pace of play was a little slow as there was a junior golf event. Everything about the course and conditions will make me return and play again. Highly recommend
Winter Pines Golf Club
Played On 01/08/2020Winter Pines Consistently Good
Well maintained. Well Organized. Nice 19th hole.
The course is short par 4's and 5's. Long par 3's.
All tee boxes /fairways /greens in very good shape. The only blemishes are from the golfers that dont fill their divots with sand and scuff the greens with their shoes.
This course is a fantastic value and can be a challenge if you leave the driver at home. Will definitely be playing here again. Great job by all those folks that make our experience a good play.
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 12/20/2019Not a $35 course
Have been playing Eastwood for many years and it still is a work in progress.
Any eastside golfer that has played this course knows that it doesn't drain well.
The money for new greens that ownership invested in have been wasted due to poor maintenance.
The tee boxes are 70/30% in bad shape. 100% of bunkers are in bad shape. Fairways are 60/40% playable. There is no kitchen/ 19th hole. This course is decent at $20 or below if you get a HotDeal anything in the $30's is a one and done with golfers probably writing how they should have played a course that was worth the time and money
Victoria Hills Golf Club
Played On 11/23/2019Still Good Not What It Used to Be
Lets face it. Tough to maintain an excellent course unless your company has a budget flush in cash.'
That being said, Victoria Hills is still a solid golf experience, Just a little sad that this beauty is showing some wear and scarring. Alot has to so with the everyday wear and tear of poor golfer etiquette of not filling in their divots or green ball marks.
The good: Victoria Hills is still a beautiful layout. Very Challenging requiring high course management.
I appreciated on this visit how scenic and beautiful this course is. Just a shame seeing this beauty going down the road of other once proud courses.
Zellwood Station & Country Club
Played On 10/30/2019Elevations and well maintained
The pro shop check-in was friendly, but can't say the same about the starter.I'll just leave it at that. The course is very well maintained with crews working throughout the entire property. The only downside was the greens were slow.
There are some blind shots which is very different for local area golfers in Orlando. All fairways, tee boxes were in fine shape. Would play again and recommend play.
Agree.
The starter is a hideous example of who NOT to put in front of people.
Who is overseeing this idiot??
Thank you for taking the time to review us. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you a better experience soon. Zellwood Station Golf Club thanks you!
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 10/04/2019Course has dried out Ready for play
The course has dried out and was decent. All maintenance is pretty much caught up as this course does not drain well. I enjoyed the round and pace of play was good.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 05/28/2019Great Layout Great Staff
From Checkin (Robbie) to the nice lady at the grill and bar.
The course is really well maintained considering the heat and dry conditions.
Tee Boxes: Very Good Condition
Fairways: Good, Considering there has been hardly no rain
Water Stations: Good. Right there when you need one.
Bunkers: Good and well maintained.
Greens; Very Good. Rolling true and fast.
19th Hole: Nice Cold One after a hot day
Would highly reccommend. If you get a HotDeal even better.
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 02/09/2019Continues to show improvement
Eastwood continues to show improvements from years past conditions.
Positives:
*The management invested in redoing all
greens.
*Golf course is now being maintained with
dedicated staff working daily on course.
*Lost bunkers are growing/filling in nicely.
*Fairways and Tee Boxes returning to good
conditions.
Cons:
*No marshall to monitor pace of play or poor
golfer etiquette of riding roughshod and
destroying the hard work put in by
greenskeepers and maintenance crews.
* Management / Crew needs to rope off soft
spots and greens to protect its investment.
*Golfers driving onto green collar area and
general soft soft spots leaving deep tire tracks
and scarring of fairways.
*7 of 18 new greens have suffered from
improper maintenance,
*Bunkers need work
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 01/16/2019Harmony in Excellent Playing Condition
Played Harmony two weeks prior and the experience from arrival to 19th hole is worth the drive. The course is in great shape. Greens are fast and roll true, Pace of play was very good. Restaurant and bar is good value as well. Will continue to play, worth the drive.
North Shore Golf Course
Played On 09/23/2019NorthShore is in fine shape
We played NorthShore twice this week and we're so pleased with the course conditions, green speed and over all experience.
Upon arrival, Robbie at checkin was very friendly both times.
The practice area is well maintained. There are no drink carts but there are plenty of water coolers to keep you hydrated. There are some bare spots but let's get real, even the $100 ones have them too. The tee boxes, fairways, trap are well maintained. Would definitely recommend. Even better if you snag a hotdeal.
Harmony Golf Preserve
Played On 12/29/2018HARMONY IS IN FANTASTIC SHAPE
The staff at check in were super friendly.
The lunch restaurant is really good and the 19th hole is a Hot Deal in itself. Now to the golf...
I have played Harmony for years and this is the best I have ever seen it. Emerald fairways lush and well maintained. Kudos to all staff on that front.
Greens roll real good and fast. The only blemishes from tee to green are the golfers that dont fill their divots, scuff the greens with their spikes or dont rake the sandtraps. WOW WHAT A GREAT DAY!
Deer Island Country Club
Played On 12/17/2018Perfect Morning Golf at Deer Island
The staff was friendly from check in to cart return.
The course was in excellent shape and the care provided by the greenskeepers shows. Would recommend this course to golfers that want to experience a beautiful golf setting and challenging game. Shot making and planning your landing areas is essential here. Enjoy!
Stoneybrook East Golf Course
Played On 11/05/2018Not a $40 Course
I have golfed at Stoneybrook East since 2003 and this is by far the most disappointing round, The tee boxes are just dirt. Crabgrass on greens and fairways are worn and in need of care. Bunkers are a disaster.. Worst part is paying the $40 + fees on GolfNow .
So many other great courses that you can play at this price. This course is $20-$25 tops considering its current conditions.
Indian River Preserve Golf Club
Played On 10/30/2018Indian River Preserve (Walkabout) is a challenge
IRP always plays tough, but I love the challenge. If you keep it in play you score if you spray it you are gonna get penalized and that is how a true golf course should play. The course from the blue tees is a bear when the wind is blowing. The fairways and greens are in decent shape. The bunkers need some work. Only negative is that the greens are inconsistent as to speed and are a little bumpy. Will (pro) and staff are always friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant is great as is the selection of beers and great food. Overall it is a great golf experience. .Will be back.
Eagle Dunes Golf Club
Played On 10/24/2018Good Hot Deal at Eagle Dunes
The course is situated in a residential development in Sorrento, FL. Has some hilly contour. The fairways for themost part are in good shape but there are some bare spots from carts driving in soft spots. The greens are smooth and fast.
Ball rolls true. Pace of play was great as was the weather in late October. Worth the drive from Orlando,
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 09/15/2018Eastwood is coming back
Kudos to all Eastwood staff involved with the resurgence of this once beautiful golf course for the eastside golfer. The frontdesk staff is freindly and courteous. The carts have USB ports for maintaining your phone and bluetooth speakers fully charged. The course is still recovering from the hard rains and the wear of the weekend golfers that dont have a clue and drive and leave tracks in all soft spots where the course is saturated. The greens roll really well. The fairways and tee boxes are in better than decent shape. The rough is penal at Eastwood, so it is a premium to keep it in the shortgrass. ALL EASTSIDE GOLFERS GIVE EASTWOOD A VISIT.AND SUPPORT THE GREAT WORK THAT IS GOING ON AND HELP BE A PART OF THIS TURN AROUND
Stoneybrook East Golf Course
Played On 04/20/2018Continued Progress & Improvements
Stoneybrooke East has been showing continued improvement and progress as ownership/management has shown renewed interest in upgrading from prior barebones upkeep.
Greens roll true and fast. Tee boxes still need work and fairways are gradually returning to form again
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 04/17/2018Improving
Anyone that's played Eastwood over the years has known that the ownership abandoned this once great course with the transparent play of trying to sell it as commercial real estate. Thanks to the residents and surrounding neighborhoods this did not happen.
In the last year the management has invested in new greens, hired groundskeepers that are trying their best with limited equipment and manpower to continually work on and restore the tee boxes and fairways that have been neglected for many years. This is my home course and I played it 4.16.2018 with a hotdeal and was pleased to note the following improvements:
Pros:
Greens roll true and fast.
Tee boxes are coming back
Fairways are improving
Groundskeepers
Cons:
Golfers driving up to green collar (all 18 greens need to be roped off like they do at other courses to preserve the investment made)
Some of the new greens have been eroded due to poor maintenance.
Management lack of funding and continued support.
ChampionsGate Golf Club - International
Played On 09/26/2017ChampionsGate International is Grrrrreat
First class courtesy valet thru checkin with pro shop and starter. The round was fantastic value thru GNOW. The facilities are top notch. John bartender is very good. Special shout out to George and Carroll for letting me join in. Absolute great time.
Thank you for visiting us at Winter Pines Golf Club. We truly appreciate your 4-star review and are glad to hear we can provide our guests like you with a valuable golf experience! We can't wait to have you back for another round soon.
