The course was in one of the best conditions in the Valley. I was impressed. It is a simple but good layout and a great course to practice on.

The course conditions have improved. But the pace of play was extremely slow. Tee off at 12:22 and made it in just before dark.

I've played this course dozens of times It is a great, fun, challenging and scenic course. Yesterday if was in great shape (kudos to the maintenance staff).

I always wait for a "hot deal" on GolfNow to reserve a round as I live on social security and it can get pricey during the winter. But this time I had my son and his friend in from Maine/Boston and wanted to have an enjoyable round with them and chose AZ Grand.

It must have been a bad day for the staff as they were aloof, indifferent, and uncaring about my situation. There ware no concessions as we had to wait past our reservation time (even though we were there 2 hours early) and had to accept a single fourth even though I had expressly requested a 3 some family affair.

The beverage cart girls were fantastic and everything else was fine (except for a very dirty bathroom on the course).

The best greens I've seen in a very long time. Excellent. Course overall was in excellent condition.

I've been coming here about every month for 10-15 years. I use GolfNow to play courses all over the valley from Wickenburg to Apache Junction and the Arizona Grand is one of my favorites. From it's layout to it upkeep to it's people it is a great course. The only drawbacks are the expense (for a local living on Social Security) to it's sometimes slow pace of play.

I always recommend it to fellow golfers - both local and tourist.

I've played this course 4 or 5 times a year for the last 10 or more years. It's one of my top choices in terms of scenery, layout, difficulty and challenge. Many of the holes are just spectacular. The course was well maintained today.

The layout of the course is quite good as is the upkeep on the fairways. The greens were bumpy and slow and obviously under repair. Regardless of a 12:30 GolfNow reservation, all golfers were sent out on a shotgun start at 1pm. I found this out after driving the 45 miles there - no choice.

The golf shop, restaurant and restrooms were closed when "all of us" completed.

Course was very well maintained and both the layout and many water hazards offered some challenges. The only negatives were that the fairways are so close to each other and today was cart path only. But its a nice little course and I'll be back.

One of my go to courses, but they are slowly getting more difficult and less affordable. They no longer honor Golf Pass and their GolfNow Hot Deals are now less attractive and they've begun requiring 2-4 players rather than one. I play twice a week, year round and will need to find another go to course on the east side. Their restrictions are now preventing me from going there.

First time I went here after many years of thinking about it. Course was in very good condition. Greens were well manicured and rolled accurately.

The course sits next (literally next to runway) to Luke AFB and many jets were doing touch and go's and manuvers. It was exciting to see some of the modern warplanes practicing.

I'd recommend this course without qualification.

What a gem. A beautiful course in excellent condition with breathtaking desert views. Very friendly and informative people and a nice restaurant. All in all an excellent golfing day.

I've played here many times over the years. It is consistently kept in good shape and provides a good golfing experience. It's one of my go to courses. I'd go more often if I could afford it.

2 things to comment on:

1. The course is in the best condition I''ve seen it in years. Cudos to the management and grounds keepers.

2. After 45 years of playing golf, I had my first hole in one today. Hole 3, 188 yards, 8 iron. Witnessed by a pro. Yea!

Reseeding just completed (cart path only for another week) and the course was beautiful. Good challenge for all clubs in bag. Beautiful scenery and layout.

The new overseed has come in and the course is in excellent condition. Pace of play was slow because of the high school tournament with seven school teams competing - ahead of us. The course itself in a straight forward compact course with little elevation change. But since conditions (grass, greens, weather, etc.) were so good it was quite enjoyable.

It is not a picturesque (except for the par 3 signature hole) course and is flat and visually boring. But there are some forced carry holes which are a bit challenging. The greens were a bit slow. The fairways were ok but thinning. It is a good value and reminds me of a desert based Encanto course. If your expectations are just a good venue to practice your game, it is a good value. If you are looking for exciting holes like AZ Grand or Wickenburg ... then you may be disappointed.

I've played this course several times and it continues to be one of my primary "go to's" in the Phoenix area. There are some spectacular holes (e.g. 18) and a lot of variation with both flat in residential holes and hilly holes. It's fun to play and the cart gal is good about getting around to you!

I've not played this course before. I was quite surprised at both the layout and condition of the course. It is a challenging but exciting course with wonderful layouts on many of the holes. The course itself was in very good condition.

The negatives were there was no real driving range - merely a netted cage to warm up in where you could only feel the value of your swing but not where the ball would go. The day I played it was cart path only due to rain the night before (but I need the exercise) which slowed down play quite a bit.

The positives far outweigh the negatives and it is worth visiting. The view on the 18th is spectacular. I'll be back when Hot Deals features it again.

Played 18 holes riding a cart ... cart path only due to reseeding. The course reseeding has brought in excellent grass and course of in very good condition.
Lots of par 3's one would expect on an Executive course but there was also a couple par 4's and par 5's where I could use my driver.

All in all a good course but water was not available on the course so be sure to bring with you. They have coolers and ice available for the carts if you ask.

The weather was HOT. The course was in excellent shape and the greens were even, well mowed and even a little fast. This is an excellent course, well managed and allows for lots of challenge and club selection choices. This is a bit out of the way (Buckeye) but well worth the drive.

Restaurant, beverage cart, friendly pro shop, good driving, chipping and putting practice areas.

The hot weather contributed to the scant of players and therefore the fast play.

I recently had shoulder (rotator cuff) surgery so I cannot hit the ball the way I used to .... yet. But the course was excellent and allowed for good and "handicapped" play with 4 sets of tees at each hole.
