Played On 12/31/2020Really Like the Course
Very well designed course. Really liked the layout. Had a lot of variety in terms of hazards and elevation change. Greens were immaculate. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
I heard it was closed for four years, and there is a lot construction around the course (and clubhouse appears to be temporary). Fairways are not in the best shape, but not terrible either. Clearly there is a history behind the course. But it has a ton of potential, and I hope they continue with the improvements. I will definitely play there again soon.
Dos Lagos Golf Course
Played On 11/15/2020Extremely slow
About 4 groups stacked up at 6th hole. A marshal came by and said it would stack up again at 9, then open up (it didn't). A second marshal came and said he would speed things up. He did nothing but sit and watch.
Conditions were muddy in a lot of areas (no rain lately). Staff was very friendly, but didn't seem to have control of the situation. Very frustrating. I think the bottom line is the tee-time spacing - 8/9 minutes between start times obviously isn't working. I really want to like this course, but this was ridiculous.
