Magnolia Green Golf Club
Played On 10/11/2023Awesome layout - good for all handicaps
Many tee boxes - pick strategically. The holes are all different but favor the right to left golfer (which I am!!!). The greens have been aerated and they are still somewhat bumpy and the greens are multi-tiered on many holes.
The bunkers should be comply redone - they are an embarrassment. We played free drop out of the bunker.
The other suggestion is to add GPS units to the carts.
I will come back because of the layout and think the greens will improve.
Magnolia Green Golf Club
Played On 10/04/2023Wonderful Layout - great for all handicaps
Great layout - every hole has it's own personality. I am a 13 handicap and played the senior tees. Shot a 79!!! Greens were aerated and very angulated (27 putts for the round though!).
The one BIG negative: The bunkers should be torn up and filled with grass - they are not maintained and are unplayable. The other negative is that they have starters but no one watching the pace of play.
Black Rock Golf Course
Played On 04/09/2019Great Layout - Needs Manicured
The tee boxes are in horrible shape - I am hoping that they will improve during the year. Brought memories of why I joined Chambersburg Country Club the last 3 years. Some of the traps were unplayable (some without sand!). Greens and fairways were decent for the time of year.
Prairie Landing

Awesome staff - we had an early tee time and the restaurant was closed. So the Pro actually went and made us coffee. In addition, I paid for three and the third did not make it - thy reimbursed our money without any thought.
The course itself is magnificent. It was extremely wet and we were still able to go anywhere with our carts. Holes are all different and has 4 tee boxes that you can choose. Played the whites and they were too short.
Again, a must play.
Quarry Pines Golf Club
Played On 04/29/2018Enjoyed - best shape of the 3 courses
Take a GPS - would have helped on many many holes. Two holes in particular would have saved strokes. Played the back tees on the Par 4’s and the Nextvset for the others - seem to make it fair for the average golfer. I am a 12 handicapper and shot 82.
Wild Rock Golf Club - Wild Rock Championship Course
Played On 05/17/2016Stunning - a true jewel hidden in the Dells
Follow the signs once you get close - the GPS won't get you all the way to the clubhouse. Once there, you will pleased. Had lunch - shrimp tacos just ok and the wings were good!!! Driving range comes with the green fees. Didn't use the practice green but looked big enough for quite a few people. There are a number of different tee boxes - I am a 9 handicap and the whites were challenging. We were lucky enough to have Sunday pin placements. The course was in A+ shape. Every hole was unique. Cart girl was regular and cordial. This is a must if golfing in the Dells.
Heritage Glen Golf Club
Played On 7/5/2013A Nice Course Close By
For the 85 and under golfer, play the champion tees. Too short otherwise unless you just want a good score. Challenging par threes. Fair amount of bunkers. Greens in nice shape - nice speed and lots of breaks. For the 85 and under golfer, play the champion tees. Too short otherwise unless you just want a good score.
The Woodlands Course at Whittaker
Played On 11/10/2012Beautiful Course
Bring lots of balls!!! Tight fairways and plenty of water. Every hole has it's own personality and each hole is completely secluded. The course was in great shape even though it was November. Good practice area also.
Harbor Shores
Played On 10/16/2012Disneyland in Michigan - who knew!!!
Started the afternoon with a delicious lunch in the clubhouse. Then, off to the practice facilities for an hour. I recommend at least 30 minutes or more on the putting green getting practicing long, extremely long, putts. The layout of the course is unique - every hole has its own personality. The greens are ridiculous. It just may have been Sunday pin placements from "heck", but the undulations, ridges, etc, don't allow you to be able to scramble to save par. For example, I hit driver, a career three wood over the marsh on the longest par 4 and had a fifty foot putt with 10 feet of break and a roller coaster hill brought in from Anaheim. Glad that I played, but not going back. Give me Arcadia Bluffs.
I'll spare the sarcasm. Arcadia Bluffs a similar amount of undulation in their greens and they're just as fast.
Olde Mill Golf Course
Played On 9/23/2012Good course for couples
It fills the void...if you are wanting a challenging course in good shape, this is not it. It is perfect to take your wife and enjoy the round.
Bedford Valley Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
Played On 9/3/2012Labor Day
Championship tees provided quite the challenge. Really had to rely on short game to show my young son-in-law who is boss!!! If you like Mother Nature and trees, this is the course for you.
Tour 18 Dallas

And still enjoyed the course. The housing community that lines the fairways is worth the price of admission. Take a camera and just enjoy the day.
Thank you for your 4 star review. We strive to create the best possible golfing experience for our guests. We hope to see you again soon.
