Mallard Pointe Golf Course
Played On 07/06/2020Great condition and beautiful views
The course is in good condition. Views from the tee are nice. Too many blind shots for me to enjoy As a first timer. I didn’t care for the finishing holes front or back. It didn’t fit my eye well. For many it will be a great play. It’s well kept. Pro was super nice and had helpful advise before play. I’d say try it and make your own judgement before being put off by any comments I’ve made.

Course is in good shape. Greens are receptive- bumpy but quick. Overall it was in good shape. Lot of rain lately but drainage seems to be working well. If you hit fairways and greens you don’t have to worry about any water left from the rain.

Played On 05/26/2020Course is in good shape. Greens are rolling slick. Staff is doing a great job keeping up with demands in a tough time. Still one of the most challenging courses around north MS.

Course is in great shape. It’s challenging but getable. Pick your spots and execute shots and you can post a good score while having a great time. The practice/warm up area is awesome! Restaurant Has good food.

The course is in great condition. A links style course with plenty of challenge and scoring opportunities. A balance of “play it safe shots” and “take it on shots” cover this course. It demands course management. With good choices come good scores.

Cherokee Valley Golf Club

Course is in good condition. Greens are exactly what you should expect this time of year on dwarf bermuda. Bunkers are well kept. Fairways are in good shape. I recommend Cherokee Vally. Fun course with adequate challenge.

North Creek Golf Club

North Creak is a good course for the price. Bunkers are no good, but the rest of the course stays in good shape. It’s hard to beat the price. Enjoy

Wedge Wood is a nice course. Greens are rolling great. Staff is very accommodating. Is a great bang for the buck.

Cherokee Valley Golf Club
Played On 05/14/2019Good place to play
CV was in good shape. Greens rolled nicely even after being airiated just 3 days ago. Course is well maintained. For a public course it’s one of the best in the area. It was jam packed. We had the 11:45 tee time at the end of a slammed morning and still played in less than 3.5 hours. We saw Marshall’s several times. CV seems to be managed well.

Course condition is good for this time of year. It’s a public course which means golfers of all stages. Some know Etiquette and others are learning. The staff is on course to keep an eye out which helps. You can get around in a few hours as a single. I recommend playing Wedgewood.

Greens are being Services. Still rolled quick. Just a little bumpy. A couple weeks and I’m sure they’ll be slick. Stick a good course to play.
