The course was in OK shape but the layout was somewhat hazardous the way some tees and greens are located. The pace of play was terrible. Will not be playing this course again.

Nice layout and staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the greens were very slow and several had damage and were under repair. I would play it again.

The layout has some challenging holes but is enjoyable for the novice and the intermediate player. Will probably play it again.

Really like the course layout. Very fair. Disappointed in the course conditions due to aeration of the greens and fairways. Hope to play it again under better conditions.
Halifax Plantation
Played On 02/01/2022Staff very friendly and efficient. Front nine fairways lacked grass but was very playable. Back nine fairways were much better.
Doe Valley Golf Club
Played On 06/14/2019Enjoyable Course in Improved Shape
It was great to see the improved conditions of Doe Valley. The greens rolled perfectly. The fairways were in good shape and showed signs of getting better. Staff could not have been friendlier. I had not played the course for several years due to delcining conditions. But the staff is putting in the time and effort to make a beautiful course regain its enjoyable scenery with the wildlife that resides in the area. Looking forward to playing again soon.
Spruce Creek Country Club

The course was in good shape, the best of four that I played in the Daytona area. The front is fairly wide open with little trouble. However, the back nine has water on just about every hole that can come into play. But the course is fair test and I would recommend playing.
I'm a member. FYI, the back 9 water hazards are as follows:
10 -- lateral
11 - lateral and regular
12 - lateral and regular
13 - lateral and regular
14 - lateral and regular
15 - lateral
17 - lateral
water on every hole on the back? Not sure what course you were playing but the only water I've ever seen on the back is the pond on the par 3 #17.
The Preserve at Turnbull Bay

Although not in the best of shape, the layout of this course has tremendous potential. It is my understanding the course has recently been taken over by new owners. I would like to play this course again in the hope that the conditions have been improved. It is a very fair test and is located in a beautiful setting of woods and homes.
