Lake Cumberland Golf Club

This place is amazing and the course is in great condition. Tight fareways and lager fast greens. Challenging course. 81 beautiful white sand bunkers and if you play without hitting a few, then you are pretty dang good. Loved the two waterfalls and the links style play. Choose your shots, play it smart, and you might come away with a good score. Definitely going back to get some revenge.
Barren River Lake State Resort Park Golf Course

Always a pleasure playing Barren. The course was in worse shape then I've ever seen it and the greens were a bit chewed up, but I played after a tournament and the high school had a match there a few days back as well. The course is tight and the longest drive isn't always the best. If you play smart, pick your shots, and go for it at the right times then you might find that birdies will come a little easier. A few par 5s are easy birdie opportunities, but a few will leave you pleased just to walk away with a bogey. Lots of doglegs and if you're feeling strog, then you can cheat a few by cutting corners. Great course.
terrible
One of the worst courses I've ever played hands down. The fairways are cow pastures with nothing but crab grass and mud. The cart paths are washed away in most spots that you can't even drive over them. The greens are unexciting bald spots on the earth where grass use to grow. You have to hit a 10 foot put like it's a 50 footer. Tee box grass is so over grown that it almost swallows a long tee. Worst golf experience ever. Save your money.
