For the price I was very disappointed by the condition of the fairway. Dead spots all over the place. 14th green was under construction and had a temporary green in the fairway. We received no heads up nor any signage. Several bunkers on the back were getting fresh sand but none were packed yet, leaving you playing in deep beach-like sand.

Enjoyed a round while visiting from San Diego. Impressed with all conditions except for the slow condition of the greens. Not sure the kind of grass but seemed to roll slow and didn’t break much.

They're having a golf cart shortage. Had to wait until actual tee time to get a cart. They just sprayed water as it was returned from the group finishing 18.

The greens are in rough shape. Appears to be struggling some grass sickness, spots all over the place as well as dimples, making putts almost impossible to roll straight. Disappointed in the current conditions and reminded me of Carlton Oaks!

Our 1030 tee time didn’t tee off until close to 1100. Pace of play can be slow on the weekends but not finishing un til 430 is a joke. No Marshall to be seen, cart girl seen once, how can you schedule a tee time at 1030 and barely finish before sunset?

I love this course for the layout and conditions but management needs improvement.

First time back in over a year. Thought I would give it a try based on some better recent reviews. Nothing has changed, except for lowered rates. Tee boxes not mowed, fairways bare, bunkers...what bunkers, shaggy greens. On a holiday, no beverage cart to be seen, no water on the course, group of hackers playing black tees ahead of our group backing everyone up, no marshal to be seen. Don't waste your money.

Rude starter greeted me and said they’re at least 30mins delayed. I was a single and then was informed I had to share a cart with a stranger because they didn’t have any carts. Each hole we teed off was backed up by two groups. No marshals ever police this course. Just a guy with water driving around. Oh and the cart lady only served us once during our six hour round! Management needs some work.

Usual Saturday morning 5 hour round. Conditions not so great all around. Wet patches, dirt patches, no rakes in the bunkers.

Booked hot deal via golf now. Got there early and was able to tee off early, alone. Finished the round walking in 3.5 hrs with zero wait times. Overall conditions were ok. Fairways need grass, bunkers need sand, tee boxes need to be mowed. But for $33, I’ll take it.

Golf now had a great deal for $77 for the champions course. Hopped on it right away. Range was wide open 30 mins before our 1146 tee time. Was paired up with father and son group. Great pace, 4 hrs, but twosome behind us kept pressure on us. Conditions were great throughout with slight breeze and afternoon marine layer rolling in. Only downside was the walk to/from the parking lot to the pro shop with our bags (didn't see the shuttle).

Greens in good condition. Fairways have bare patches throughout. Lots of ground under repair. They should lower the fees while all the work is in progress.

First time back since COVID. Very surprised at the great conditions all around. Tee boxes, fairways, greens were the best I’ve seen compared to most South Bay courses. Carts are old, range is lacking but for the price and conditions, by far the best.

Definitely will return. Surprisingly no blue tees. Either white or black. I think it’s their way of speeding up play since most will be intimidated to play blacks.

Very pleased. Will return for sure.

First time trying this course after seeing reviews. Impressed with layout and length. Fairways are good and greens are challenging.

Teed off 0715. Good pace with intermittent rain. With the rain throughout the week, it seemed like none of the grass was mowed. Overgrown tee boxes and rough was like tournament style. But still enjoyed playing in tough conditions.

First time playing here since the owner change. Wow! Great improvements to fairways and greens. Wow! Greens are the fastest and hardest in San Diego! Great deal from Golfnow for $30.

Supposedly they had a scramble tournament that caused an over 30 min delay. Then the pace of play was very slow. Five hour round. Original tee time was 1007.
