Unable to finish our round and told to finish our round on #15. Not a single marshal all day and had to wait on every shot. Nothing was being monitored on the course. I drove 1 1/2 hrs to play this course and I will not do it again.

I've been playing golf for 39yrs and I'm a former golf course superintendent. I have seen just about it all when it comes to golf course operations. The pro shop staff was great and the cart staff was good as well. After going in the pro shop I went to the cart staging area and all staff was busy except the starter sitting in his cart 10yrds away from me. I walked up to him and asked if he wanted my tee receipt and told him my tee time around 12:30. He very arrogantly told me that he doesn't want it and to go stand back wear I was and someone would be with me. A few minutes later a cart attendant came up to me and put me on a cart. I was placed with a nice couple and drove to the first tee and waited. There was 1 group on the green 1 group in the fairway and 1 on the tee. When I was able to tee off in my downswing the starter appeared on my tee and said something directed to me which required me to retee. I and everyone else had to wait because of 2 slow groups in front of us. After my first interrupted tee shot I and others voiced this to him which he replied lollipops for everyone at Madison Greens. I worked at private clubs and high-end public clubs and every club I ever worked at would never tolerate this conduct and nor should Madison Greens. I think he is more suitable for security at a bar not being a starter. The round took 5hrs and our group and those behind us waited on every shot because of bad management. The starter should be told to never judge a book by the cover. He made your club look really bad and I have a strong feeling that this is nothing out of the norm for him.

I have played this course for 20 yrs and in recent years it's condition has declined greatly. It has very friendly staff and the layout is good. Unfortunately it is extremely obvious that the irrigation has been turned off for everything except the tee and green tops for some time. Most fairways are now dirt, this isn't fair to the entire staff of the club because they are all great people. The club's legacy doesn't deserve this either it seems local politicians are at fault. To say I'm disappointed is a understatement.
