Sandpiper Golf and Country Club
Played On 10/21/2013Course was ready for winter but very playable.
We were the third group out and did not have to wait on any hole.The course was in good shape and well maintained for the time of year.
Ponoka Community Golf Club
Played On 10/07/2013course has good character amongst trees,water, and open spaces.
the course was being prepared for winter with aeration on the greens and some construction in preparation of a new hole,however,it was very playable and enjoyable.
Athabasca Golf and Country Club
Played On 09/26/2013Course was in VG condition with the signature hole always a pleasure to play from elevated tees and super view.
The course was a pleasure to play,however,one par three was unplayable which they compensated for by playing an extra par three on the course.
Trestle Creek Golf Resort - Jack Pine/Creekside Course
Played On 09/24/2013Course is in excellent condition...greens are also full and fast with many undulations.
The course has only one negative that I see and that is the sand in all traps are much too soft.When entering to play a shot you sink and it is difficult to play out because the sand is so fine thus resulting in heavy or deeper divots .
Ironhead Golf and Country Club
Played On 09/17/2013A championship rated course.
Course is in VG condition ,well maintained ,and as challenging as you wish to play it from either of the three tees.A bit of a drive but certainly worth the drive for the setting.
Silver Sands Golf Course
Played On 09/04/2013Heavy dew on all greens ... Terrible to putt.
We played at
9:30am and not one green was mowed which made putting difficult .
Fort Saskatchewan Golf Club
Played On 09/02/2013if you have not played the course several holes have hidden hazards.
It is a 9 hole course and it was a 5.5 hr. round.As we arrived on time to tee off for our back 9 they put out another foursome between us and the group we were following.
