Best public course in Columbus

Winding Hollow is an outstanding course. The grounds crew keeps it in excellent shape. The greens are some of the fastest and most challenging I have ever played on. Every hole is unique and adds something to the course. I played on Sunday afternoon w/ cart for $32.00. Phenomenal value for the money. I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone.

Challenging and beautiful course

NorthStar is a great new addition to the courses in the Columbus Area. It's a challenging course, and plays very long from the back tees. The scenery is absolultely beautiful, and you rarely see anything but nature while playing the course.

The greens were smooth and fast, just as I like them. Watch out for #2 though, it's the narrowest green I've ever seen.

Price was decent with the golfnow discount.

Overall great course.

Lots of Elevation change

Chemung Hills indeed has a lot of hillls. The land is very interesting as you will find yourself hitting off an elevated tee on many of the holes.

The greens are very interesting with lots of undulation, but can be a bit hard.

The back nine is a great set of challenging holes and I enjoyed every one of them.

Overall good course for the money.

Surprisingly interesting layout for as little land as this course is on

This course has a variety of interesting holes even though it is on a very small piece of land. The greens are in pretty good shape and roll true. Only downside is you are often right next to other groups playing other holes, which can slow up play. This course is well priced for what you get and the staff is very friendly. Definitely worth at least one outing. I've played it 10-15 times.
