St. James Bay Golf Club
Played On 07/09/2020Course marking
You have to play position golf, and that's as advertised. What makes it so unfair is there are no course diagrams to show you where and how far to hit. There are many blind shots. And unless you have played it, you can't know how to hit. They need guidelines, course layouts, with distances, signs, maps or gps. Something! Some Tee boxes in poor shape. Fairways somewhat rough, but greens were superb! I will play it again, with some foreknowledge. Not many other choices in the area.
Cobblestone Golf Course
Played On 07/08/2019Beautiful lakeside layout.
Course is in great shape. It used to be tighter than it is now and we enjoyed the round in spite of hot july GA weather!
One negative: they had the "no carts" markers back a ridiculous length, often equal to or exceeding the 150 yard markers. May as well have been cpo!
Pace of play was poor, mostly due to the walking back and forth.
Hi, Ed. Thank you for reviewing the course. Let us first start by apologizing for the delay of play during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We are going to escalate your feedback to our team so we can make improvements before your next game. We are glad to see you rated the course conditions and value to be great during your game. We will continue to work towards an excellent experience by using your comment for guidance. Thank you for playing @CobblestoneGolfCourse. We hope to see you again soon.
