Signed up as a single for a 9:04 tee time. Arrived at 8:00 and told the starter if he could pair me up earlier I would play if not no worries. His name was Gary and was a great guy.
Told me that the 9:12 tee time had a threesome and he was going to pair me with them. No worries I went to the range and putting green.
At about 8:45 Gary said the threesome brought another player and he wasn't sure where he was going to fit me in....He said most likely 10:30 or later depended on the groups. Of course that was totally unacceptable and I said that I would just take a refund and go down the road to another course that could get me in (I called ahead when he said the length of the wait).
He suggested playing with another foursome which I had no issue with but the counter guy said NO WAY. At that point I spoke to him directly and told him that making me wait that long wasn't acceptable, to just refund my money. Couldn't remember the guys name but he said that he wouldn't because I had a tee time and I was more than welcome to go and tee off. So as a single behind 15 groups he wanted me to play solo??
At that point I figured I would just dispute the CC charge but Gary came up to me and said I am putting you with another foursome (which was very nice of him). So as a five we played in 4 hours and 15 minutes while never getting out of position.
Thanks to the starter Gary who went above and beyond. Course was in good shape and worth the money. Greens average speed (some ball marks needed attention) fairways pretty healthy and bunkers in general in good shape.

I have played here several times in the past, This will definitely be the last.
We travel to Orlando every year and play 7-10 rounds of golf at various courses. I received many emails from Mission Inn raving about their great course conditions. So we decided to play one of our last rounds of this trip there. What a mistake.
Starting with the positives:
- Large practice range
- Large putting green
- Beverage cart came around often
- Starter Larry very personable

After that it is hard not to be critical. Our round started at 11:40 and finished at 5:15!! Five hours and 35 minutes!! NEVER once did we see a ranger on the course.
Course conditions- Greens were average at best. Bunkers had not been groomed for the day, Fairways were sparce and some were under repair.
If you were off the fairways you most likely were playing off of dirt, as the course needs some major work in providing some rough to play off of.
Tee boxes were in fair shape.

We played several courses in the area and they were in good shape at a much better value. If it wasn't for Mission Inn's history this course wouldn't be around.
Unless you have nowhere else to play I would avoid it (even if you have nowhere else to play you may just want to go shopping instead),

We played this course a few years ago and I played as a single last year. We heard the years in between was a struggle as conditions were not good. Last year the course was average.
The course recently renovated all the greens and eliminated 70+ bunkers. The ones remaining they have added new sand and cleaned up the edges. The bunkers they eliminated didn't affect the layout. Greens were running about a 10 (starter said 11-12, but not many golfers have ever played that speed let alone be able to handle it). The greens were pretty firm as expected from newly renovated greens. Make sure you play accordingly.
Fairways were in average shape this time of the year. There are 5 different sets of tees. You can make it as challenging as you want. Rough as usual for the winter is sparse but didn't effect the experience.
The course is a fairly long drive from the Disney attractions but well worth it for the price and value. Give the greens 6 months and throw in an aeration with top dressing and they could very well be some of the best in the Orlando area.

The course layout was not very challenging. Greens were rolling about a 7. Fairways were fine. Rough was sparse.
For the price the course was what we expected. Average.

Booked a last minute tee time on golfnow. Price was very good for what this course used to be. With the conditions I experienced today it was not a deal. The greens were slow and bumpy. Fairways were only average. Bunkers had to much sand in them.
The cart attendant couldn't find a cart with a windshield or a cover for my clubs. With the threat of thunderstorms I told him I would not play without one. He wasn't happy about my request and made me aware.
I will not go back.
