Rustic is extremely challenging, with greens that are tilted and fast that are very hard to hold with approach shots.
Played behind a US Open qualifying so teh pace was very slow.
Bring lots of golf balls and a friend who has played the course to advise were to put approach shots.

Westlake is a moderately long course, but has it's defenses - especially in the wind.
The greens are in excellent shape and the fairways are improving quickly.
The pace was very good, even for a full course.
Take an extra club to the wind, as it swirls above.

Course is looking good but reens are still bumpy and slow due to the seasonal punching.
Should be better soon.

Course is tight and you don't need driver on every hole. Position is extremely important.
Greens are in good shape.

The course is an excellent 9 hole 3 par with smooth greens and canyon winds that make shots difficult.

Played early morning and it cold but greens in great shape

Course in good condition although the greens were a little slow and bumpy. Pace was average and groups in front got much slower on par fives and back nine.

Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Greens are fast, 3 putted first two holes until I got used to the speed. Watch out for canyons and valley bunkers. Terrific value at 30, you are playing a country club and the views are fabulous.
