Palm Golf Club at Forest Lakes presents a challenging narrow layout for the average golfer. There are various streams and ponds which demand thoughtful placement of golf shots with each stroke. The many par 3s are each variously different in length and layout. All in all I would recommend this course for all levels of golfer.

Work on the fairways is in progress. #13 has been sodded over the marshy areas. The greens are in the best shape I've seen ever since we first golfed there over five years ago.

We haven't played this course in quite a few years. For an executive course, they have kept it up very well. The greens were challenging, especially the crowned ones! It is a very good course for the short game, plus the lack of doglegs encourages straight fairway shots.

Fairways in great condition, greens rough. There always seems to be a cooling breeze.

Excellent shape...good drainage, however some bunkers were water-filled. New owners take good care of course.

We always enjoy playing golf here. We like the fact that it is close to our home here in Lakewood Ranch and the cost is very reasonable.

Overall, Pebble Creek has been a favorite course of ours that we have played whenever we were in the immediate area, starting about 10 years ago (having discovered it by accident). Sometimes we make an excuse to be in the area so that we may play it!

First time we played this course -- will have to play again in the future.

The Groves is a challenging course for the money. Despite being only par 65, the fairways are narrow and have features such as ponds on one or both sides, which make for an enjoyable round. The recent rains did not impact the drainage factor, so the cart could be used on the fairways as well as the cart paths. Overall, another round will be played in the future (returning patron)!
