Layout is kinda messed but the atmosphere with all the palms and other greenery somewhat makes up for it. The fairways are cut super tight which, when combined the wet and muddy conditions, make for difficult ball striking. I found hitting out of the Bermuda rough much easier on the hands.

Super fast greens. Fairways are lush and generous (but I still managed to miss a couple). Greenside bunkers have almost zero loose sand so be prepared to dig hard.

Great track. Conditioning needed work in a few places but generally great. Super friendly staff.

Great layout! Great conditions, especially the greens. The odd scrubby spots in the rough but very occasional. Wish the course was more walkable but ya can't have everything.

Loved this track. Imaginative and varied layout. Greens, fairways and tees were all excellent. Would definitely play this again when I'm back in the Phoenix area.

Not a fan. Very few yardage indicators (first two holes had none) and carts have no GPS. Greens were shaggy, slow and grainy. Lots of dead spots on fairways. I'd go elsewhere for the same $.

Played the Coyote Run - Eldorado combo. Coyote was far more challenging with lots of sand. Loved the layout of both nines and the conditioning, particularly the greens. My only issue with the course was the lack of yardage indication. No 150-yd markers. Sprinkler heads are marked but very difficult to read due to corrosion, muddiness and the fact they were all well recessed below the ground and covered by grass.

The mix of rye and dormant bermuda on the fairways takes a bit of getting used to after some of the other courses that have a more generously-watered species of grass. The conditions favour low tee shots because you will get a lot of roll, including into trouble. The greens are excellent and roll very truly. Also appreciated the drinking water that is available approx. half-way through each nine.

Loved this track, especially for the discounted price we paid. The fairways are quite generous so most golfers won't be challenged off the tee. Lush emerald grass everywhere. Wish they could have cut the tee boxes a bit shorter but that may not be practical in the Vegas heat. Lots of attractive aesthetic bonuses throughout the course.

Great greens. Highly recommend staying away from the washes (which figure into every hole) as the ball will almost always bounce down the slope into the water. Didn't enjoy playing off the gravel which will be your fate if your ball strays over the cart path on the opposite side of every hole from the washes.

The greens had recently been punched and dressed so not sure if the shagginess/slowness was related to that or normal for this course. Other than that, the conditioning was good. The fairway designs were quite pleasant and varied but most greens seemed to be elevated with a swale immediately in front - could use a bit more variety.

Beautiful example of Les Furber's mountain architecture. Thoughtful, gimmick-free layout with just the right mix of challenge and playability. I love playing this course and look forward to coming back again.
