Red Wing Golf Course
Played On 09/11/2022Great bang for the buck!
This course is always well maintained and the pace of play is hit and miss. More rangers would be nice on the weekends to keep slow foursomes from backing things up. This time around we had courteous golfers who let us play through and zero complaints. Greens were in great shape and most marks were cleaned up by previous golfers. Fairways seems to be patched up well with divots and reseeded when needed. For the price and quality, this course is the nicest in the area for these prices.

Played this course a few times and was not impressed last year. However, after playing it this Spring I must say it looked in great shape and the pace of play was excellent. If you have never played this before be prepared keep your ball low as the winds can really whip up in this area and the course doesn’t offer too much mercy shielded by bigger trees. It’s great to see this course thriving again. I will be back this year!

This course is one my favorites in the area. Just over the border near Hudson, this course is always well maintained and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I’ve played 4 rounds here this year and the pace of play, friendliness, and conditions have always exceeded my expectations.
Cannon Golf Club

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Staff is always very accommodating and friendly. The course has many challenging holes and is well kept. The fairways and greens are a little patchy and dry in areas, but that’s expected in the beginning of the season.

One of the best courses south of the river. Excellent course layout with plenty of challenging holes that can be enjoyed by golfers of all skill levels.

Stillwater Oaks Golf Course

Showed up to the course was informed front 9 was unplayable for the day, staff gave me grief for wanting me call GolfNow to receive a refund. You pay for 18 with a cart I expect to play 18 holes, not 9 repeats. So I decided to play anyways. Took me not 3 times to find a golf car to run, 1st one died on me in middle of parking area. Course was not well maintained. Divots throughout fairways had no been filled in. Greens had massive divot, seems no one feels the need to fix their ballmarks. I quit and left after 9 holes disgusted I wasted money and time on this course!!!!
