It’s a good golf course with great greens .Fairways had a lot of grass, more than other Florida courses in April.
My wife and I were paired with another couple which was great. For some unknown reason the starter put a 2 some out in front and behind us.
The 2 in front was about 4 holes behind at the end and even in a 4some we waited on pretty much every hole while the 2 behind was pushing us the entire round. Such a solvable problem.
I loved when the starter asked the 2 ladies if they were going to play the “ladies T” when they walked to the gold block.
They are both low handicaps.
The practice/area and warmup area is excellent.
We had a great day and I would definitely play there again when I return to this area.

Par 4s very short and easy. The par 3s are long.
Looks like they have redone the course as the Garmin watch worked on some holes but not others.
Greens were nice and rolled well.
Staff was excellent and very friendly.
No restroom on course but it does come back to clubhouse after 9.
Good value short course.

Play both LPGA tracks multiple times a year. Best public courses in the area.
Greens are fast and roll well. Lots of grass in fairways compared to other Florida courses at this time of the year.
Lots of great merchandise on sale in Pro Shop.
They could use a Marshall.
The one group had 3 empty holes in front of them but eventually they figured it out and it looked like they played a scramble.

Obviously a great golf course.
I’ve played it twice a year for the last 10 years. The course was carved through Forrest’s and wetlands. You never saw any other golfers.
It was spectacular. Now they are building houses everywhere.
I get the whole make some money thing but this is just another typical Florida course. That being said I’ll play it again as the greens are very good.

A must play when in New Smyrna.
T blocks and bunkers need some love.
Greens are fast and roll well.
Very very cool to see the planes take off and land.
Members want to play fast(normal for a private club)
Had a 2some behind us playing front block who wanted to play fast.
There were 4 4somes in a row so there was nowhere for them to go.
All in all great value and fun to play.

Fun little course and good value for the money.
Played with 3 8-10 handicap’s. We all hit a trailer.
It is very narrow. Greens rolled well.

Everything was top quality.
Full T sheet but Marshall’s were on the ball and moved people along.
Good T blocks, grass in fairways and sand in bunkers. Sounds pretty simple but you don’t always get that in Florida in April.

Greens rolling much better. Clubhouse and Beverage cart didn’t have a sandwich at the turn at noon which was odd.
Did have a really interesting experience with a single golfer. We were a 2some. I’m a 10 and my buddy is a 5. They paired us with a couple. They were both high handicaps but very nice and fun to play with.
They kept pace. There were some 4 somes ahead of us. It was Sunday morning at 11 at a busy course. There was a single guy who had already played through multiple groups.(He even played through a 3 and a 2).
He was a “poser” guy who stands at the 150 with his arms in air when we were putting.
Couldn’t understand that there was nowhere to go.
It became more obvious later why he was alone.
When we let him go at the next hole he had words for all of us.
He certainly made the day interesting and he was definitely the biggest douche nozzle I’ve seen in 45 years of golf.
But the Venetian is a great course.
Long drives from greens to T blocks.
The cart GPS is as good as anywhere.

Awesome track.
Greens are lightening fast.
Literally the fastest you will find in area.
And roll better than LPGA.
Bunkers have lots of sand.
T blocks and fairways well maintained.
Like other Muny courses.
You are at the mercy of the people there for pace of play.
Starter does excellent job of pairing people and avoids sending singles or 2 somes.

I play Venetian once a month.
Great experience. From the cash register to the starter to the Marshall to the bag drop. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating.
They have been putting some effort into the greens and T blocks.
I will play again soon.

This is a great track. Wide fairways and it’s been cleared out if you miss fairway you will find ball.
Great elevation for a Florida course.

Shorter course but greens are very tricky.

Need to leave ball below the hole.
Group behind us hit into us a few times(before we tuned them up).
Course was backed up and play was slow.
But that’s just because of the caliber of golfer which is expected at a municipal.
It’s a great track.

Played both the Hiils and the Jones. Jones is through the houses.Hills is much more secluded and I think overall is a better track.conditions were excellent. Greens are very fast and roll true.

We played 7 courses in Daytona area and these were the best 2.

Great course.
A bit short with 4 par 3s on the front.
But all are challenging and well bunkered.
Not sure about the name Hidden Lakes.
The lakes weren’t that hidden to me.
I found them easily.
Greens roll well and they obviously fertilize and water frequently.
Good practice and warm up area.
I’ll be back.

Nice course. Some challenging holes with a lot of water in play. A few greens need some work but it’s early in the year.
Staff was awesome.
