Had a great experience starting at the bag drop where the staff knew my name and readily retrieved my clubs from my car. Every single interaction with staff were all excellent.

The course designers created something special with the background story of every hole, the major PGA events played at the course source, and many references to greats:Jones, Hogan, Palmer, and Nicklaus to name a few.

The visual and spiritual impact is surprising. The azaleas and magnolias at amen corner just represent the attention to detail that is in the Rendition DNA and lineage.

The Pro Shop is well inventoried and the pub style grill puts out great food. Staff were incredibly friendly and courteous.

Advice I received the day I played was this:
-The course is difficult
-The greens are fast
- The greens are tricky so never land above the hole

Bottom line…I waited 5 years to play this course and it was worth the wait! Just enough challenge and exactly the right amount of respect for the game.

I live east of the Chesapeake Bay bridge and taking the 50 minute scenic drive to Frog Hollow is always a delight. The hot deals are an especially great value right now.

This course is challenging and in great shape. A few holes are CPO but we have had a lot of rain lately…but who hasn’t in this neck of the woods?

After a long winter of expensive green fees, we now return to “good value” in SWF. Yay! Thank you Magnolia!

Played ER and it was a hot one. But did see an Eagle on the second hole. A little expensive this time of year but every course is.

Lots of water and some tight holes make play challenging.

I like this course... it is convenient, you can play it in 3 hours, and it is close to home.

I really like this course so it should be no surprise that I would give it a good rating. A couple of the greens have some issues but overall very good.

The course and especially the greens are in great condition. Staff are clearly glad to be supporting the course again. The condition was great but pace was slow.

I consider Stoneybrook my “treat” course. The design is well laid out, and the advanced tees that I play, are very fair to the ladies, taking a lot of the tough carry shots out of the equation.

This is not the season for affordable golf in SWF. But if you watch carefully on Golf Now you can find a deal like Magnolia. Rates vary widely with the season, but all the nice courses get pricey. Magnolia greens are true but pin placements can be insidious! The course is in great shape too.

I really enjoy this course! I remember when there were shells in the landscape! Great condition...even got some roll!

Played this course last year, loved it but did not score well. Decided to return and was rewarded with great conditions and some pars!

The course has some interesting carries.
But all in all a good place to work on your short game!

I am a 20 HC and shoot between 92 and 97 at Kingsway. The greens were a little dry. Play was a bit slow for my liking. So I got a little anxious.

Will be back!

I shot an 88 last round and considered that a victory. I have always found the water and sometimes narrow fairways challenging. This time of year I get some good roll from the ladies tees, but still tough play.

Really enjoyed playing this nice course. Staff are friendly and the course was in outstanding condition.

For my last round in the Chautauqua area I chose CGC. Have played the Hill and Lake courses close to a dozen times this summer...a real gem! Very much like the friendly staff and their informal yet professional demeanor.

This is my second time playing the Lake course. Really enjoy Don Ross courses having played several. I think the value is the best in Chautauqua!!!
