Outstanding Course!

What a beautiful course! First time playing since I'm from out of town. Somewhat challenging if you play from the blue tees. Greens are AWESOME and well taken care of! I can't wait to play it again!

Management Cares!

I had a bad experience when I played last year and the general manager contacted me to find out what he could do to improve. They changed some procedures and made it easier for everyone to come and play. I am very impressed that they took the time to call and find out what the problems were so they could improve. The pace of play was really good and the course was in good shape. I hope that everyone has the same experience that I had. I do recommend this course. Thanks Jeff!

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Very average golf course. I think they need a new greens keeper because numerous bare spots and just overall bad course conditions. I don't think that anyone that plays there repairs their ball marks on the greens, I fixed a minimum of 5 ball marks on every green. Never saw a beverage cart and when we made the turn the woman behind the bar was painfully slow. The pace of play was slow at best. This course is worth around $30 greens fee. Practice range has numerous stalls and everyone is expected to hit off of mats; the only problem is that there are no rubber tees to hit a driver. With that said a large bucket costs you $10 which is too much for having to hit only irons.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Started off with a very rude woman at the pro shop asking me for a credit card to put as a deposit for the cart. Really?? Don't give them an Amex card...they don"t take them!?! Asked for a small bucket of balls and was told to go to the machine. Went to the machine and it only took 1's, 5's and 10's...had a twenty...It was like pulling teeth to get this woman to give me change for the darn machine!!! We went off the first tee and had to wait EVERY hole! Terrible pace of play! Five hour round! The precious cart that I had to give my credit card for gave out on us on the 13th hole. We had to walk until the 16th when they finally brought us another cart! After the round no apology or anything! $72 to play this very average course and they treat it like its Pebble Beach! Play at another course that will give you the service that you deserve for paying the prices that they charge! This course is for beginners and does not challenge better players like myself! Coyote Creek, The Ranch and Cinnabar Hills are better choices than this gopher track!

Good Layout

Nice course layout that offers a challenge to any skill of golfer. Valley course though needs some TLC done to it. Lots of big bare spots where the rough should be. The sand traps are in horrific shape, like hitting off of the cart path! With the bunkers strategically placed where some if not most of tee shots end up in them you would think that the course would take better care of them. Greens were really nice and firm, the type that if you go at the pin on approach shots the ball ends up on the back or in the rough. Overall not worth the $80 it cost me to play there, more like a $45 to $50 course.

Great Value For The Money

Great golf course! Great views and awesome tee shots! This is not a course for beginners because of the importance of relatively good drives. I will definitely be back to this course. Watch for the wild turkeys around the course.

Beautiful Golf Course!

If you have never played this golf course, you need to! Just an awesome course and great layout! Every hole brings its own challenge and the whole course keeps you on your toes. Not a course for high handicaps. For the first weekend of March, the course was in immaculate condition! I played at 2 pm for $90 and felt like I was stealing! I would have no problem paying $200 to play here. Excellent practice facility, along with first class treatment by all of the staff. I can't wait to go back and play this course again!

Greens Need A Lot Of Help!

Played in early March, really didn't expect the course to be immaculate but I do expect it to be in better than average shape for the Las Vegas area. The fairways were only slightly green, the green surfaces were like putting on dirt that was painted green! I'm not sure if I just caught the course at a bad time, but I would definitely not pay the greens fees that Troon Golf requires at this course. I only paid $40 for the round and felt cheated. This course is worth $20 tops! The bright spot was the employees at the course. All of them were extremely helpful and courteous.
