Solid day. Fairways were great, greens were slow and tricky.

Had the first tee time all to myself. The course was in pretty good condition. The greens were a little sandy, but it was fun. Finished in 2:36.

The GVR Par 3 is a fun little 9 hole course. It stretches about 830 yards in total. Longest hole is about 120yds. Always in pretty good shape and a great way to work on your short game.

I had a great day playing Heather Ridge. I started alone, so I played the front 9 in about an hour and a half. On the back 9 I caught up to a slower group in front of me. By the time we reached 18, the 2some behind me joined me and there were 2 other groups waiting to tee off. Some of them were getting frustrated, but I had no where to be. All in all, it was a great day.

The course was in good shape. Fairways are very open for a beginner. A few challenging par 5's. Would definitely return.
