About
Fairly long off the tee. Good all round game that can really go low. I have one major weakness right now that I realize needs practice to correct and that is bunker shots. My current nemesis.

I have played many times at Woodridge but this time round the fairways are in really bad shape.

Today was the 2nd day of spring and for the time of the year the course is in great shape.
Pearl at Kalauao
Played On 11/11/2014A Pleaseant Surprise
The staff are fantastic. The course is quite picturesque and has a number of interesting holes. There is some forgiveness if you hit onto adjacent fairways but there are also some out of bounds to watch for. Overall we had a great time and I would play there again.
Naperbrook Golf Course
Played On 10/25/2013Course has a little something for everyone
Long but reachable par 5's. Greens have undulations requiring a good read from both sides of the line to the pin. Challenging Par 3's which reward those who go for it.
Thanks for the great review. We hope to see you out at the course again soon!
Arlington Lakes Golf Club
Played On 7/14/2013Short enough for average golfers to play and enjoy
Course has some interesting features in terms of being short yet a bit tight in spots. The par 5 9th is a little challenge. Had a boom of a drive and a 9 Iron in over bunkers to a raised green. Hit is perfect but with narrowness of green it rolled off the back. Could still get up and down for birdie but little chance for eagle which is what I thought after seeing the 9 iron go.
Tamarack Golf Club
Played On 11/10/2012Tamarack challenges your play but rewards good course management
Tamarack has everything. Long par 5's, long and short par 3's; and par 4's that have risk reward qualities. Water on the course makes good course management essential requiring effective use of fades and or draws whichever is your poison. The staff here are great providing a welcoming sense that sets you up for a wonderful day. On course refreshments from super friendly staff are readily available. Half way house also provides a pleasant experience. Way to go Tamarack.
