New Club House is Finally happening!

This was the only thing missing from making this course a must play on a regular basis.

Kenny and team know how to run a golf course. From : grounds keeping, staff friendliness, making you feel welcome and just creating an experience that makes one want to book the next round there before you leave from the round just played!

When the new clubhouse is finished I'm betting it's going to be really tough to get a tee time!

Played this course few times every summer last few years. Long drive for me, I have golfing buds that live short drive from the course. Always been a super friendly staff. They always make you feel they're glad you're there. It's an old facility with old carts. Doesn't matter because staff keeps the facility and equipment very clean and in great condition. Always get a kick out of the intelligence Wisconsin golf course owners have. Example, charge a fair price for beer and players will buy it from you Vs sneaking it on. Not sure why the course owners in the state just south can't figure that out? !! Anyway, just played here for the first time this season. Wow, the course itself has really gotten a tuneup! The conditions: fairways, tee boxes, greens and bunkers. All are much improved so hats off to the greens keeper staff. Really enjoyed the day and will be making the long drive more often. Nice work Browns Lake!

So much to love here, out in the country feel, great layout with lots of elevation variety. It just needs some major maintenance. The club house, especially bathrooms, needs help! The cart paths have little volcanos popping out of them. I think they've got a grubs issue on some fairways and greens. No windshields or GPS on the carts. The tee shots at 15 & 16! If they don't trim those trees soon it's going to be almost impossible to thread the needle. Golf course competition in these parts is fierce , I get that. At some point you have to make the decision to sell it or invest in it ?!? Hope they chose the latter, it's got major potential.

Great track with lots of scenic elevations. Northern woods feel, only a few homes on the course. Little things like an old faded rusted 90 degree rule today sign that's out there EVERYDAY and a not too friendly proshop guy. Overall it's a great course for the money. You'll use every club in the bag. If you haven't played it, give it a try.

Play this course once per summer, would LOVE to play it more often. My group just doesn't have 5-6 hours for a round. Doesn't matter if it's weekend or weekday. They load the tee sheet stacked 8 minutes apart. Ranger? They often have two at the first tee to make sure you paid. Say hello and goodbye you won't see them or any other on the course. It's a shame, my group and I all live local and wish we could play here more often. It's a great track, friendly staff and well kept course. I've often had to leave after 13-14 holes to make my sons ballgames at 5pm when we teed it up at 11am! Just can't do it but for once a year because it's local and a great course. We all just try to prepare ourselves mentally ahead because we know what's coming. A long long round!

Great day at Redtail course is in terrific shape. Staff as always was there to assist with any needs. Got paired up with a couple great guys. Fun day lots of wind to make it interesting. Great selection of, drinks, cigars etc. They have of the best hotdogs you’ll find at at a course.

Course was in great shape. Same greens keeper last 30 plus years. Jimmy does a great job. Greens in great shape fast but true. Course plays long from the white tees. Play the green tees if you’re not a very long ball hitter. Don’t skip the 19th hole. The food selections are all great and beer selection great as well. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A couple of the gals have been there for decades. They know great service and provide it like it was still a exclusive private club. Lori and Genevieve will make you feel like you belong.

Live nearby and have driven by this course a hundred times. After sixty rounds at other local courses this summer I finally played Foxford Hills. Hands down the most scenic and well manacured course in the area. On the practice range along with the tee boxes of several holes you'll swear you're in the Carolinas! A course good for all levels of players depending on the tee marker choice. Don't wait to put this one on your must play list. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only complaint is the snack bar was out of hotdogs? What golf course runs out of hotdogs!? Oh well I'm sure that was a end of season thing.
