A $93 dollar disaster

Boy have I been waiting to write this review since this morning.

For starters, it’s $93 on a Sunday morning. I expect to be wowed at that price. Instead the first thing I was told despite being in different households, we would be forced to ride together due to a lack of carts. Okay, not ideal but they had the plastic border in between so I can live with it.

Several holes in, a marshall rolls up and asks us to speed it up. We were 7 minutes behind pace according to their gps so we made an effort.

Except we were waiting for the group before us on each hole, which was no big deal.

Two holes later, here’s the marshall again to tell us that the group in front of us is playing faster so we need to. No matter that again we were waiting on that group. This time after the lecture the marshall decides to chat loudly with the cart girl while parked right next to us teeing off. So play faster while I watch you hit and chat through your backswing.

Getting to holes 10 & 11 I have to dodge an errant ball from the range. Again, for that price the range should not be spraying onto any holes!

Finally, at hole 12 my buddy, who is trying to play as fast as possible, hits a long shot over the green. Guess who is there...the marshall to tell us “we must be having a rough day.” and says again group in front of us is playing faster and we need to speed up. Mind you, we were 11 minutes behind pace before and were now only 6 minutes behind pace.

Then two holes later
the GPS doesnt connect us to the new hole so we each have to hit through the incessant beeping until we drive back to the cart path. Outrageous but computer issues happen.

However, the final straw for me comes in the parking lot. We are unloading our carts when another staff members walks over to ask us to hurry up and return our carts because they are low. Meanwhile, two other groups have been chilling in the parking lot in their cart drinking beers for a few minutes.

I certainly hope it wasn’t for the reason I feared we were singled out but count me unimpressed .
It was a decent course but certainly not worth the $90 price tag. Do yourself a favor and find another coursr nearby. It will cost less and be more enjoyable.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your round of golf. It can be tricky balancing the desires of all the different types of golfers. I am sure our staff tried their best, but obviously did not get it right for your group. Our apologies.
