Paradise returning

My wife and I have been coming to Highlands Ridge for three winters now. This is the best shape the North Course has been in. There are a few rough spots near edges of fairways and the greens could be a little quicker, but they do roll true. There are a few tight holes and many others with generous fairways. Doglegs are challenging with well placed fairway traps. The staff are great here and they do their best to pair up couples. This is a must play course if you are in the area!

Increasingly Challenging

This course has been made more difficult over the past two seasons. Fairways have been narrowed in places and the carry distance to reach the fairways has been increased in other areas. There are three par 4 holes over 400 yards from the white tees. Bunkers were playable with firm, but somewhat coarse sand. Pace of play was probably slower than usual because it was Father's Day. A fun course for a reasonable green fee.

Great Experience

A fairly challenging course for a near 60 year old golfer...just enough sand and water to challenge both female and male golfers of various abilities. The staff were very courteous and efficient in getting golfers off the first tees in an organized manner. The fairways were very well maintained, but I found the speed of the greens to be somewhat inconsistent between the different nines. This, however, did not detract from the game and is to be expected due to aeration at different times. The aerial car ride over to the clubhouse and back to the parking lot was an added bonus. I would consider this a Myrtle Beach must for visiting golfers!

Nice elevation changes.

This was the first time I had ever played this course, even though I live in the Niagara area. We have many good golf courses to choose from. A couple of tee blocks needed attention, but this was only a minor concern. The greens were in excellent shape, rolled true, held the ball and played at a med-fast speed. Nicely maintained, wide enough fairways made for good pace of play for women, junior and senior golfers alike. I will definitely play Bridgewater again! Highly recommended!!!

November at Legends on the Niagara (Battlefield)

It was great to get out on any golf course in early November. Battlefield was in very good condition for this time of the year in Ontario.

Nice course for a variety of skill levels.

My wife and I played this course three times over a two week period. The greens roll true and are in very good condition overall. There is a mix of wide open fairways and a few narrower ones which require accuracy off the tee. Careful shot planning is necessary to score well, especially the holes which require a carry over water. The Valley at Eastport is a fun and challenging course that is great for couples.
