Twisted Oaks Golf Club
Played On 03/25/2017Very nice layout
Played this course a number of times and always enjoy it. Only problem this time was the greens were very slow which wasn't the case on previous visits
Pine Ridge Golf Club
Played On 12/14/2016Good layout but...
First, this course is now called Highland Hills. I enjoyed the layout..dog legs, elevation changes. Greens were in great condition but very slow. It may be too short for some long hitters (not me). There were no blue tees out on day we played. Fairways and "rough" could use some maintenance even if only to remove debris. We were a twosome and finished in just under 3 hours. a foursome let us through and it was clear sailing after that. I would play the course again.
Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/16/2016Nice layout and greens
Layout was very good...lots of dogleg holes and somewhat elevated greens (but not to the extent that you can't see the pins). Greens were in very good shape and rolled well. But if you like playing off grass in the fairways, that was a problem...too many bare lies for me. I'll go back in the summer and see if things have improved. Lots of trees but course is not as tight as it initially appeared.
Blue/Red at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort
Played On 07/30/2014Very playable course..not too hard and not too easy
Although our group likes to travel and play many different courses, we always want to play Shawnee at least 3 or 4 times in a season. It suits all of our handicaps ranging from 12 to 20. Course and greens were in very good condition. Greens were perfect speed. Course is very scenic and adjacent to the Delaware River. Look for the eagle around Blue no. 3.
