We enjoy Encanto because it is so open and allows us to shake off some of the winter rusty ness as migrating snow birds.

Impressed with the condition of the course. Haven’t played this course in years because the wait was 2 to 3 groups wait and most holes. They seem to have made a huge improvement with their tee time bookings as the pace of play is now very good.

We did see a marshal,but he didn't seem to be doing anything.
HI "Fern929" We apologize if you felt the pace of play was slower than normal. We are in the middle of our peak season and the courses in the area do fill up pretty quickly, usually with no where to go. We appreciate your honest review and hope to see you again in the near future.

We teed off on time, the course was in good shape and the greens were challenging but in excellent condition. The pace of play was steady. Our group enjoyed the course and we'll play it again.

Quiet day for the bookings on this course. Pace of play of course was excellent. Course was in good condition and challenging.. Greens were also in nice shape.
Continental Golf Course

No starter, no Marshall to insure that the pace of play was maintained leads to a 4 hour round which is apparently quite common for this golf course. This leads to abuse of common etiquette like keeping pace with the group ahead of you. Followed a group of regulars at this course that wouldn't tee off until the group ahead of them was on the green then watched them drive the ball 100 yards. One of the most frustrating rounds I've ever played. So many courses in the Phoenix, Scottsdale area, avoid this one.

Nice playable course that is fairly open and in decent condition. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Serious Flood Damage
This course had a lot of flood damage a few weeks back, a really isn't ready for play yet.

Never expected to play Winter Rules in the Phoenix area but this course was extremely wet. Greens were okay.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course

The greens were extremely slow which was a surprise for a club of this caliber. Staff weren't necessarily dismissive however they weren't overly helpful either. I wouldn't go out of my way to play it again.

Very helpful staff. Nice open layout. Very playable. Greens were a little slow. Enjoyed it enough to play a second time with friends.
