The course is a really nice layout with challenging drives and interesting holes. Some beautiful panoramic views of the ocean especially on the back nine.

However, it is very hot and the course isn't in very good condition. The staff is marginally helpful and seems to treat "golfnow" tee times with disdain. They know you're not paying full rate and do as little as possible to assist. A big problem is pace of play which is VERY slow (5+ hrs) if you get behind beginners which seems to be very common and disappointing. In fact, my last round of golf had three players who had NEVER played golf before forcing me to be the teacher, guide, marshal, etc...so we didn't hold up the course.

Finally, the greens need serious work and one entire hold was closed.

Course has tremendous potential but needs better management.

Played here about 3 years ago and was treated very poorly as though they didn't want my business or to even be speaking to them. I liked the course but was truly offended by the insolence and arrogance of the staff.

After a change in management my wife and I decided to give it another chance. What a wonderful experience starting from the first reception in the pro shop to the starter to the cold towel at the end. I would now wholeheartedly endorse playing here.

As a course, it can be challenging with lots of tough hitting areas but still very fair. Not for a beginner but average golfers will definitely enjoy. Low handicappers will love "the tips" and higher handicappers have very fair other tees (white, red, gold).

Only slight downside is it is quite warm when the winds stop but that is typical of other courses in the area.

The course layout can be very challenging from the back tees but is also very fair. The whites are quite reasonable for the average player. Course conditions were excellent and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Played in about 3 hours but the first six holes were as a single then joined a 2-some.

Overall a great experience and more affordable than either Gold or Emerald.

Overall, course is nice layout. Though it does need some attention to maintenance, it can be an enjoyable experience. Not especially friendly to tourists or guests.

Most disappointing was allowing groups of 8 to play (and hold up all subsequent groups) making an otherwise enjoyable round quite disappointing. Even called into clubhouse while playing to request help. Had to leave 4 messages first. Then someone came out but no change in the 8-some.

Played Wailea Blue the following day for not too much more and was an outstanding experience with tons of class.
