Lakes/Dolphin Golf Course at Cocoa Beach Country Club
Played On 03/15/2020Best condition greens in the area this spring.
I joined 3 locals for play. They were awesome to play with. Starter took care of us even though they were late checking in. A lot of the grass is still dormant in this area this spring, but the fairways were decent. The greens were “green” and had nice grass. They rolled very true. They were quick, but not as fast as some other courses, but rolled very nicely once you got the speed. Consistent speed on both nines as well. Good experience.

Staff was great. Course was in good condition, grass is starting to grow in the fairways, so it’s not all tight lies like some courses. Must use course management on numerous holes and not be out of position. Fair and fun course to play.
The Habitat Golf Course
Played On 03/03/2017Must use course management on this course.
One person in the group has played here so it really helped to know where to aim, and when to lay up. The sand was packed a little bit and not very deep, so had to be careful not to hit too thin coming out of the bunkers. Nice nature area to play in. Good time, I will go again. Worth the extra drive time to get there for me.

Nice course to play, it is coming back from being not taken care of. My playing partners have played here a lot and gave me some of it's background. New ownership is fixing up the place nicely. New clubhouse and restrooms there are very nice. The course is still needing some work, especially on cart paths and such, but the course and greens are good. Good experience and had a hole in one on #4 to boot!

It was a light rain off and on during play. There were a few of the holes that were very soft near the green that the water did not drain well. The course played very well considering the wet conditions. The greens were hard and still pretty fast even being wet. If you came up short of the green, the ball would stay right there in the soft front, but if you land on the green, the ball didn't hold very good. Putting was good though, greens ran true. Overall a good experience.

Course was packed from a frost delay in the morning. had an 11:48 tee time. got off late and played a 5 hour plus round. Not very good having to wait at every hole. Course was in good shape for early February. Bunkers need more sand in them, especially around the green. Overall a nice course to play.

Chilly and windy day, course played tough into the wind. Greens rolled smooth and true and were sneaky fast but consistent. Nice course overall and good facilities for water and restrooms on the course. nice 19th hole for food and drinks too.
The Savannahs Golf Course
Played On 02/04/2016Challenging layout with a lot of nature to see too
Good course with much improved greens from a couple of years ago when I last played here. There were quite a few soft areas even though it has been a week since the last rain. Overall a nice course to play.
Twin Rivers Golf Club
Played On 01/12/2016Good Public course in January, fast greens
The greens had been dressed for winter, but rolled smooth and fast. Not a course to walk, long drive from green to next tee at a few holes. Overall good condition for January in Orlando. You have to hit the ball into the right places on a lot of holes or you are out of position to get to the greens. Bunkers around most greens prevent you from "running the ball up" like you can at some courses. A good but fair challenge. I am a 15 handicap from Illinois and I was in the 90's for score, so be ready!
Hi Bruiser717,
Thank you for playing at Twin Rivers Golf Club. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your round with us, and that the course rolled true and fair. We hope you will be back to see us the next time you visit Florida.
Best Wishes,

Played On 01/06/2015Short but lot's of trouble
Greens were somewhat slow and bumpy. Fairways are very tight lies. Plenty of water to be found if you hit stray shots or go too far on some holes. I met some great golfers to play with too. Staff was great, there is a range to warm up on too. Reasonably priced and good value for the money.
Dear Bruiser717,
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to give us a 4 star review. It means the world to us. You will be happy to know that we are actually adding some new sand to several bunkers on the course to help with that compaction issue you noticed.
